R Pod DIY Sim Rig (Silent)

A brief tour of my R-Pod MKII DIY sim rig:
(Triple screens to be added in phase 2)
-Constructed mainly from MDF
-Fanatec ClubSport equipment
-Sparco Sprint Seat
-4 Buttkicker mini LFEs (2 under seat, 1 in shifter pod, 1 under pedals)
-21:9 ultrawide monitor
-TrackIR
-Carbon fibre dash using re-purposed DSD button box

How do you like the chair? I'm looking at getting some racing peripherals and the step after that would maybe be a chair. I assume a racing/gaming chair would be preferable to a regular desk chair but I can't exactly go to a store and try some out :P

+Jon Findlay, the chair is really comfortable. I had a bucket seat on the MKI and was happy with it so getting another for this build was a no-brainer really. The only thing to be wary of is the width of the seat - some are much narrower than others.

Yes, it can't be understated how much patience she had with me putting this together. The house was frequently a real mess during the process. What's more, she encouraged me to start the project in the first place!

+Eli Prenten Thanks for the interest. I just started building really, with no previous experience. I borrowed some tools for the first arcade cabinet I build, which came out ok, and went from there. I don't have too many tools and only a small workbench for the woodworking.
