My grandma got kicked out of her church that she dedicated her entire life to because she felt the LGBTQ+ should be welcomed with open arms. They literally wrote her a letter to kick her out because they couldn't say it to her face. My grandma did so much for her church; she and my grandpa did all the lawn care, did a bunch of donation dinners where not only did they work them they also provided all the food, did every event including trips and what not and she even started a craft show where the money to purchase a spot to sell went to the church instead of her and it was the biggest craft show in our area and ran for 24 years. It was a big part of my life and I worked it every year from the time I was a kid till I had my own child. She's now apart of a pretty cool church with a tattooed pastor that accepts LGBTQ+ people. It was an Episcopalian church btw for anyone wondering. I'm just mad they had no problem taking all her kindness until she asked for one thing; don't turn people away that want to embrace god.

Man, I love it when people get revenge on a-holes in their wills. This was better than the one about the guy who created a point system for his will. (Visits, calls etc) Where the good grand kid got 8,000 or so points compared to his brothers and cousins triple digit points and his dads and uncles double digit points. But man, some people get awful when inheritance is involved. My grandma did it best. All her monetary assets, split in 3 evenly between my mom, aunt and uncle (her kids) and the grand kids mostly already got theirs before she passed. She gave me, my sister and cousins $10,000 when we got our own place. My youngest sister and youngest cousin got that after grandmas died, from my mom and uncle respectively then they were older and got their own places. It just happened to take place after she died.

Whilst grandmas revenge was incredible, I feel so sad at how she suffered in her last 10 years. She deserved love and friendship and to be surrounded by kindness. What a sweet soul.

That was the best revenge story I've ever heard. Nobody got hurt and everybody got taught a lesson. That grandma was a true Christian, a Christian my atheist self would proudly call a friend.

I like to imagine while the will was being read, God was watching with Grandma, and thinking "That's my girl"

As a born and raised Texan I can only say this of this fine lady's lesson. God bless her and her whole family! Sitting here listening, I could swear I know what church is being talked about... But I don't. There are too many churches like that around to guess. All hate and fear factories that suck the livelihood of all the desperate folks turning to the church and getting nothing. Only words of 'Seed money' and 'tithing' and that is only used as an investment for the church to make more money. Not to actually help anyone.

This is the single most satisfying revenge story I have heard on this channel! This lady reminds me so much of my own grandma who passed away a few years ago. This is exactly what Christianity is about! Not about bigotry or hatred or intolerance. God loves every single one of you, no matter how you look or believe!

The OP's grandmother is the type of person everyone should consider as a role model. I'm glad they shared the story, as it honors her memory, and graces us with the knowledge of her existence.

For that last story, If your church treats you like that don't give up on religion find a better church, my grandfather has been getting calls from our church at least every other week during the lockdowns and he has no money to leave when he leaves, they just care about him.

Yeah! Christians are supposed to comfort and support you and leave you feeling better, not worse, and there are plenty out there who do leave you feeling better not worse!

I recognize my grandma in this lady. She gave 75+ years to the church but when she got alzheimers they pretty much left her to her own devices. I was always so angry about that.

Thinking about it, my Nana went to Catholic church more than once a week for 60+ years, but after she was killed trying to cross the street to get to church, they didn't even send a letter.
