@Joy Kitty You can sue anyone for anything and get a positive judgement to get your shit back, but these people almost never pay and good luck trying to go the legal route of going through a collection agency which takes a massive fuck-ton of time. Getting the business to re-send you your lost and stolen items also is a pain in the ass and thats IF they use their own courier service. If they go through something like UPS or Fed-Ex for lost/stolen packages - good luck getting them to payout. Amazon is typically easy to deal with in regards to this and they will just re-send your item, however because of the ease of this has caused people to simply say they never received an item or it was stolen from their door after it was dropped off essentially scamming Amazon out of money - they are starting to make requirements, the main one being that any dropped off package requires a photo of the item sitting at the recipients door and documented on the delivery information to reduce the amount of bogus claims to get the same item for free - to sell for profit. I once sued my previous employer because of a Workman Compensation claim, where I broke my foot because of dangerous work conditions (the storage area was a mess and I was the only one making the effort to re-organize everything so that there was more room to store things and move around) they never paid me. In my state, workers compensation is paid directly to employees. After speaking with my insurance company, they were able to cover the medial expenses (surgery, physical therapy, pain meds etc), but since its a workmans comp claim - they recommended that I take the long legal route to make sure I am made whole and so that I can be reimbursed for my out of pocket medical expenses. First the first month - I went directly to my employer to ask them to simply pay me what I am owned since they were never paying me what they were supposed to. They declined several times. So I finally went the legal route of hiring a workmans comp attourney. Throughout the long process, and because the employer was unwilling to simply pay me what I was owned - My restitution request was around the neighborhood of $850k, to include all of my medical expenses to pay to my insurance company including the 8 months of missed pay because my job is physical and they wouldnt let me have a desk job. Thankfully, my landlord who understood the situation, was willing to halve my rent in the mean time until I could get back to earning a full paycheck again. I was living off of an emergency loan from my bank so I wasn't destitute. Once I was healed enough to walk without a cast, I managed to find a desk job that paid more. However I was still pressing the issue because being $15k in debt because my employer didn't want to pay me for being hurt while on the job and spending almost 8 months without being paid and living off of a deferred repayment loan and my insurance not being paid (workmans comp claims are ultimately funded by the state, paid into by businesses and private insurance may be used as part of the payment for medical needs). It was a simple shipping warehouse. On top of all that, I made sure I kept records of every situation where I told them we need to stop any new shipments from coming in to clean up and sort the place and make any fixes because everything was essentially falling apart. After a 2 year battle - I finally won my case. The employer got their business license revoked by the state, my judgement was $1.5million ( it was essentially doubled for punitive damages). The company dissolved obviously and I never heard from them again. Until I realized they re-opened under a different company name - all with the same administrative staff. And now going on year 3 for going after them for the $1.5 million judgement that they never paid, and my lawyer god bless her soul - has yet to charge me a dime for keeping her on retainer (im not blind to the fact that she is going to take a decent chunk out of it.... even if I only end up getting $100k in my pocket after everything is said and done) and is actually helping me to try and get $5million out of it in the hopes they want to settle, or in case the judge lowers the restitution amount. You want to think its easy.... it isn't. Calling JG Wentworth doesn't work the way you think it does.

I worked for a limousine service. I was probably the youngest chauffeur in our company but also very professional, so I was granted a lead position on some very important jobs. One day I am assigned to pick up a man who represents one of the many Saudi princes. It was a 2 car assignment, a limousine and a cargo van for the luggage. An older driver was assigned to the cargo van and me to the limousine and principal client. We met the client at the private runway and I helped load the van with the luggage. While dealing with this client, the other driver started acting too familiar with the client and was even using swear words in the conversation. That is a no-no and very unprofessional. When we arrived at the hotel, I assisted the client into the hotel and inquired as to what his continuing needs might be. He told me that the luggage van was no longer needed, but for me to stay on as he needed to go other places. I went outside to release the other driver and he got all pissy and resentful that i got to stay on and be paid...i simply told him there was no need for a luggage van as all the luggage had been handled already...he really started acting like an ASSHOLE and started genuflecting and saluting me, as to say I was the "big boss man" I just laughed at him...he kept it up during the next week and I decided to screw with him. All the other chauffeurs had cell phones, except him...he was too cheap to buy one...bit he did have an old fashioned pager, that would just beep when called, but didn't show who was calling...so the revenge ensued.... I called and set off his pager at least 50 times over the next week. Sometimes at 3 or 4 in the morning, sometimes when he was on jobs with other clients and since he didn't know who was calling, he assumed it was our office and he would have to stop the car, find a pay phone and call in....everytime he called in, they told him they hadn't called...and a lot of times he was doing this with customers in his car (who didn't appreciate their trip being interrupted) I kept it up and even did it right under his nose while working on another job together. I was parked behind him and simply went to my trunk, Put my phone on the floor and dialed his pager...soon he was sprinting from his car looking for a pay phone to call the office...and came back angry and dejected minutes later...soon he got tired of responding to his pager and the office was actually trying to reach him and he screwed up a job as a result, costing thousands of dollars...when he finally returned to TBE office, the boss chewed him out for not responding to the many pages he had sent and suspended him for a week without pay...as he was leaving, I asked him what was wrong and he told me he got suspended...i tried to hide my smile and appear sympathetic, but it was very difficult...as he was leaving I said to him " well, enjoy your time off, should I call you, or just page you?" And waved a middle finger at him while busting a gut laughing!

The jerk who lives down under me, was a nightmare for the rest of the tenants in the building. Always loud day and night. Leaving garbage on his landing all the time, purposely breaking and scratching everything in the common areas. He also sell drugs in his apartment and when I moved in there were 4 minor children in the 3 floor, 6 apartment building. Me and the young widow with 3 children were up and under his apartment. I kept taking pictures of all the trash he was leaving around and the scratches and breakings he was performing daily. The office of the building management told me it was a neighbor's dispute and if I had an issue, to call the police on him. I was well to do until the 2008 crisis, so I went down on that but never lost the manners I got used to while living with my family as a child and teenager. I listen to classical music and opera most of the time, but at a low volume. He would play boom and bass loud rap crap and he learned the bad way, my stereo it's more powerful than his, but he eventually got used to my music, no matter the volume and he started playing again, his dumb noise, repeating the same theme over and over again. I decided to just put my speakers on the wooden floors, I have speakers on each room and his apartment has the same layout than mine, so he had nowhere to go. One day I was watching history and geography videos on KZbin, he started playing his noise after midnight and I just easily connected the laptop to the stereo receiver. That night he listened to non stop 5 hours of history and geography. I had earplugs and everything you can imagine on my ears while I was playing this loud. His girlfriend went out to the landing to scream and say to turn off that shit. Payback is a bitch, so after that and from then on, every time they played that noise I would give them school time, all over their place, nowhere to go, nowhere to hide. My neighbors right front decided to move out after only living in the place for less than 3 years they had a sickening child and it was very improper for them to live with that trash around. He also managed to make his floor neighbor from right front of him. So there was him and the only apartment after his, was mine. So he started blocking the landing in his floor, with mountains of garbage bags. One day I just kicked the bags out of my way, he heard it and I just passed his apartment not reaching too far. He told me if I broke something, I would have to pay it, to what I laughed loudly, then he approached me while opening his zipper and pulling out his dick, telling me to suck him I said to him there was no way I would get close to him because he looked like the last time he took a bath, was during the universal flood. I was just going to the supermarket 2 blocks away when I came back, there was less garbage there and he inside his apartment, with his door open and looking at me all the way, on his floor landing. I got to my door and I see urine there, the dog pee on my dor. I went inside, called the police on him and when they came they told me it's my word against his. So I took it as a free check to take my own revenge. His windows are exactly under mine and he had this kind of old air conditioning machine, with venting slots peaking out of his window. I always keep a bottle of Drano just in case and I emptied the entire thing on his air conditioning machine slots. Just 2 fold revenge. He put uric acid in my door, I put sulfuric acid on his air conditioning machine. A few days later, the super came to tell him to stop doing his crap, because it was the woman under him and me, complaining about the same stuff. A few days later, more garbage, I kick it, he goes out and tells me he would never let me sleep again and I should look for another place to live. Again I laughed loudly and got to my business. That same night he tried to play his loud noise again and he got back 6 hours of history and geography lessons. Another time, I was very tired and I took some sleeping pills, he started to play his loud crap, I played the history classes, in an entire playlist. I fell asleep again and when I woke up I thought I only slept 3 hours, from 6 am to 9am. It took me like an hour to realize it was dark outside and I realized I slept 15 hours without a pause. Downstairs there was a sepulchar silence. Since then every time he started, I just started classes. So about me not being able to sleep, ok it went back to him. He told me to find another place to live, only 7 months ago. A month ago, he had a bad somehow deal and there was a scandal down there, I heard 2 big knocks I thought they were slamming the doors. Police came by to ask the widow and then me about what we heard. I told them everything as I heard it and there was some smoke in the common areas, I asked the police, if the idiot downstairs finally burned the building. They told me one of the fire extinguishers in the landings went on and caused all that, but nothing about fire. It was a Friday night and I didn't hear anything else until the next Monday, when my maid came to the house and told me the second entrance door to the building had it's glasses broken and boarded. I went to look at it and what happened was that his unwanted guest, when thrown out of his apartment, took the fire extinguisher and broke both glasses, which are pretty big, each of them. The super told me a week later that the management company sent him a letter to evacuate the premises as soon as the eviction moratorium ended. Well I guess the one who's going to be finding a new place to live, it's him. There were more confrontations between me and him, but I don't want to make this longer than it is already. Since then you can only hear his girlfriend growling loud, but she's another to speak about, she looks like the black death from the seventh seal.

Yeah lol the wifi problem was genius. I used to be loud while playing games because sometimes I didn't realize it's past midnight. My roommate texted me but of course I wasn't looking at my phone, so she decided to slap my shoulder so hard to the point it bruised. I was so shocked by it, but in a way I understood she's groggy and can't think coherently at the time. The next day, she apologized to me and I did as well. We talked over it and all is well. ❤️👍

Story#1: OP and his girlfriend may want to move and/or get some protection just in case...seriously. Story#2: Personally I would go into the store soon after being let go and tell the new manager: I know you are a thief and I don't care (and a very conspicuous wink). Story#3: Pretty good revenge OP :)

1st one. OP was smart to report the series of crimes to the police. Child removed form a dangerous and possible deadly situation was a good move. Also I do believe that OP will never get his stolen stuff back unless the police do a very through cleaning of the stuff that was stolen to remove the cocaine powder. The expensive makeup is trashed. If OP is killed or disappears before or after the court hearing, The dealer is automatically suspect for accessory. It was all caught on tape. They just have to look at the dealer's previous contacts. There is be a lengthy list, because that's how the police trace and catch criminals. Even just the casual contacts are on the police watch list.

He saved the kid for revenge..not cool. If I saw drugged out aggressive parents I wouldn't think twice before tipping off the police that they have drugs, are on drugs, and likely don't hide them from the kid or abuse said kid. Sure foster care sucks, but at least that gives them a CHANCE at a good home, or even being put in with aunts or other family members!

One of my friend's boyfriend was nice until she looked at my roommate "for too long". He pulled a gun on her in my house. Dude I didn't hesitate. I walked up behind him, and whispered "if you pull that trigger you write your own death, and I do not have a gun. Please try me, been waiting to kill someone" he put his gun away. Tried to take her with him. I just said no you leave alone. Now I was able to alert our other apartments, so they all kept him out. (We as in the 4 apartment we all kicked it at. All in the same building). Now we knew he was a dealer. (I do not care what you do for a living as long as its not about kids, or brought to me. I will be kool with you. Most people just talk anyways) The guys in other apartment went out and took his jeep, money, drugs, guns, and phone. They left him in the desert. He is alive. The desert is not that far from town, it is a pain to walk though. It happens here when you piss someone off enough. You walk back and they leave you alone. Yeah, I am sure someone has died before. It is a walk that can and has kill people. That where out there for other reasons. Maybe a revenge video of my own. I have a handful of stories.

9:15 I do the same thing to my downstairs neighbor. He plays loud music till 2-5 AM. I am often awake at night myself because of my working hours and I'm not keen on listening to his music so often. So this is what I do.. He lives in the basement and I on the 1st floor. All apartments in the building are identical with the exception of the basement. All other apartments have bedrooms to the north and living room to the south. He has both bedroom and living room to the south. The nights he plays music way too late I wait for him to stop. He'll want to go to bed then. And that's when I turn up my TV(which is straight over his bed) to max volume on a techno youtube playlist via chromecast. I set it up to stop playing at 7AM when the other neighbors start to get up. When I'd done this 4-5 times he started playing music late much less frequently. And I don't wanna be a tyrant so I do let him play once and a while. No-one likes the guy in the basement, he is a scammer and a lowlife, but I try to be a good neighbor regardless even though it's hard. The story above is the result of years of escalation because he simple won't work with people. I started by going downstairs, knocking on his door and requesting he turned it down a bit. The next time I reminded him of the rules of the building (nothing loud 10PM-6AM). After that hadn't worked a couple times I called the police non-emergency line and asked if they could talk to him, but he's like 50 years old and has had run-ins with the law before so that didn't scare him. Some further escalation and we arrived at the story up top.
