Does it come under the desire called "shaastravaasana" or is it due to the desire for name and fame ? Is the desire for scientific and artistic creativity an obstacle for spiritual growth?

@@IndianSpiritualHeritage Revered Maharaj Ji, I believe scientific and artistic pursuit is a good support for a mind that is less pure, as it can prevent the person from indulging in worse kinds of thoughts. However, when the same mind has learned to dwell on spiritual thought, that support is no more necessary. Rather the pursuit of scientific or artistic creativity may be a hindrance to one's spiritual growth. Please let me know if my understanding is correct. I'm asking this question from the point of view of a spiritual seeker.
