I am watching this non stop for last 30 years at least , in my childhood from sixties till eighties it was held at Ferojshah Kotla Grounds , Then it was famous as Ferojshah Kotla Ramlila , We used to sit on back benches eith Rs 1 ticket Looks amazing and mesmerizing every time i see it.

This ramlila covers the most minute deatils of Ramayana..... be it Ravan's reason to wage war against Ram or the meaning of the deer music. This surely needs to reach the mass audience of India to know that what rich culture we have inherited. A standing ovation to the brilliant actors, director and all the team. I first saw this as an eight year old, left in awe of the scale and quality of production. Twenty years later, this still doesn't fail to give me goosebumps. Interestingly, I still remember portions of dialogues and even melodies of some of the songs! Thank you so much for premiering this. Extremely grateful 🙏🏼✨

This dance drama "ShriRam" depicting the life of Lord Rama has been quite illustrative, inspiring, intellectually stimulating and thought provoking. There is no comparison of this Ram Leela. In fact, its content, ambience and presentation suits people of all walks of life and across all ages. I have been seeing this dance drama since my childhood ( for more than 40 years), and I make a genuine effort to see it every year. Each year, I get to know and find something new and unique which could be much embedded with the advanced technology. The cast and direction too are commendable. Very nice. Beautiful. Thank you. Wonderful to see Ram Lila online. Was a little hard to follow moving descriptive subtitles, interspersed with 'Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra Presents Ram' line, which is a given, given we are on the Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra KZbin channel watching. Possibly may help to do a simple descriptive static subtitle per scene that covers basic content of that particular scene, most scene capsules in general are long enough to do this. Flow of understanding then not lost, and educative to new viewers of Ram story.

It is simply mesmerizing and amazing..I just wish they would show Ahilya ' s episode with a rider that it was not her fault..its very regressive that she is paying penance for something which was not her fault. Secondly , agnipariksha episode should also be thought of showing in some other light. We have impressionable young girls at home and it becomes tough to convince them of these episodes. It's great really..just highlighting these points coz Shobha ji is such a visionary and every year tries new things.Once, if I remember correctly, she incorporated some reference to Nirbhaya kaand also.

It was her fault, she knew that the the person is Indra impersonating her husband, still she went ahead. It is clearly mentioned in Valmiki Ramayana, don't know why serials and mainstream narrative omitted this.
