To my Thai brothers and sisters, your country has produced some of the most amazing indie and post rock bands in the world.. Criminally under-recognized in west because our languages are different. This pandemic has done a lot of shitty things to the world, and especially in your country as I write this, but discovering Thai artists this year is not one of them. Goose, Inspirative and Desktop Error…not to mention indie folk artist like T-o47 and Greasy Cafe…what amazing talent. Inspirative is arguably one of the best rock bands in the world …musicianship and technical mastery on the level of Radiohead and these guys still have to work day jobs to support themselves. I’d give anything to go back in a time machine to the days of Fat FM and see Goose perform. Before they broke up. (What happened) The musicianship, songwriting and studio production on their albums is truly awe inspiring. I can’t say say enough great things about the Thai indie music scene. It breaks my heart to see videos of tourist industry workers going hungry.. it’s shameful that there’s vaccine everywhere in America that nobody wants and you guys have only been able to get enough for a few hundred thousand. If there’s someone on this thread who can recommend where to send online donations that aren’t corrupt, I’d appreciate it. Rock metal in other country good than thai rock metal but thai post rock is the best for me don't have anynation can play post rock like thai.
