Russell’s viper has become new emerging topic in Bangladesh.
Though it was exited before but this snake has become more dangerous in recent days.
so, many reasons behind it, but mostly due to...
1. climatic change
2. Increasing irrigation
3. Ecological imbalance
It releases hemotoxin, which affect RBC ( red blood cell) and blood vessels wall.
Resulted in some sign and symptoms,
- bleeding from affected site
-swelling affected site
- hematemesis, hemoptysis
- ptosis
- headache
-muscle pain
- nausea
-vomiting.
Treatment : hospital admission and antivenom.
