R-Sky Diablis Standard Sportkite - Christian Derefat Spec

Christian Derefat brought one of his prototype kites to a Tricksparty competion in the east of Holland. The working title was Virus2. It was aimed to be good at the higher value tricks in the Tricksparty system. That proto became the Diablis and Christian flew his own in a few competitions. R-Sky then started producing the kite "under license". And, as with a lot of licensed designs by other companies, it didn't exactly turn out to be what was originally intended by the designer. Later on, the (bridle) specifications of Christian surfaced online and people tweaked their kites to spec. The Diablis flown in this video on loan from Matthieu Bernard and is in CD spec. Flown during a break of a very nice gravel ride trough the southern islands and Zeeland at Ouddorp beach in a lovely sea breeze. Enjoy!

So sick. I've been flying kites for a few years now and have the basic tricks down but can't seem to progress and it gets discouraging. But after watching a video like this I'm inspired to go fly. Also, do you modify any bridal settings on kites to make them more aggressive with stunts?

@lancetanner Getting the stoke back might be the best compliment there is! Thanks! Normally I try to fly the kites as is. Trying to keep the tweaking to a minimum. Sometimes, when a kite has adjustment options like pigtails, I try the more nose backward setting for better feedback on the lines. Or forward to gain drive in less wind.
