Hola Paco, no exactamente. Ahí usaba cañas legere de clarinete...la pegatina es un esparadrapo de papel para hacer la caña más resistente. un saludo

I've head of the E flat clarinet but didn't even know there was a D! How players of transposing instruments can move effortlessy between them is a mystery to this non-musician.

The fingerings are the same on all sizes of clarinet. Moving from one to another is not a problem. For example, I play the regular Bb clarinet. One day, an orchestral player handed me an Eb clarinet. It was easy to play, right up to its top C (Eb in concert pitch). But the Bb clarinet goes plenty high enough for my needs. I would like to try a D, but they cost molto dinero. Buffet makes one, and someone mentioned a Leblanc model.
