No one was at the Helm and by the time someone go to the helm it would be too late, ships take a *LONG* time to slow down just like trains. And by the looks of it it's a fishing ship so it would have a big net in the water and basically drag it behind it for miles while going full speed to catch whatever they can, while the crew watch and manage the ropes so it doesn't snap (this is purely a guess since the quality is bad so I can't tell if the net is out or not) so they would be looking at the ropes and behind the ship rather than in front of it. As for why. the ocean is massive chances of running into another Ship far out at sea would be uncommon unless you are near trade routes (which given the tanker this is definitely on a trade route).

If you watch carefully, the "gas pipe" that explodes after a cigarette is dropped into, creates a trench where it has detonated under the soil. It's only visible for a fraction of a second, and is easier to see if you slow the video down to 1/4 speed, but it is distinct. The pipe goes off to the left, and blast soil up right as the pipe disappears. I worry about where it lead.

@ the first one, before we got a steamer, my mom's iron was so old that the steam option just didn't work. For most of my childhood I thought that spray bottles were a completely normal part of the ironing process: lay the garment out flat, spray with water, iron, rinse and repeat. I remember when she was teaching me to iron, she made an effort to tell me NOT to spray the water directly onto the hot iron because, if you put it on the clothes after, it could burn/ruin them. Want fresh smelling clothes? fucking. wash them. get some fragrance stuff. Put it out on a clothesline (if possible) for that fresh air smell. Don't put fucking sugar water right onto the iron????????
