All these cities popping out in Gauteng seems nice--which may be--however, I really wish we had a walkable city with retail stores like Joburg CBD. These smart cities rely so much on malls and shopping centres.. Every time I think of the potential of Joburg it really angers me that our government does nothing to rejuvenate it.

I feel you, I’d love to have a city with the European walking culture here anywhere in South Africa

You know all those buildings in the Joburg CBD are privately owned, and the government can do nothing about them because it's private property.
@ngmn5402Күн бұрын
@majorwebprojects1412 not all, many buildings belong to government. Other many buildings don't have owners, and owners are not traceable

@ i think that's what they were trying with Rosebank but maybe Space is the reason they cannot expand

@@majorwebprojects1412 I didn't know, thank you for the info. Now what will it take for them to revitalise? Money or government involvement?

@WayneKitching22 сағат бұрын

Hi totally unimpressed 😒 really what is so unique about this city. All you see is a bunch of buildings nothing else no outstanding features to capture the imagination. When one thinks of new York for instance you think of central park .😅😅😊😊
