There we go! Turns out he was making a separate video. As much as you loved the R142As on the 6, please remember that CBTC helps make commute for all riders easier, which explains the swap.

We definitely know there is no CBTCS hooked up yet on the 4 5 6 S lines for Lexington Avenue yet.

@@leecornwell5632 If there is, the 2 would permanently have R62As, the 6 would permanently have R142s, new strip maps have to be created, and the 5 and 6 cannot interchange due to the yards too far away from each other.

That's a copy. So you are saying the 2 5 trains shares there equipments with the same exact strip maps. We definitely have to wait and see what happens when the brand new R262/As open and close ways comes. Don't you wish that the 8 Thrid Avenue Elevated line was still running today with out tairing it down?.

@@jadenmuniz8817the R262s first I’d assume. The R188s came to the (7) before CBTC was implemented. However, for the Lexington Ave line, that doesn’t mean the R142As will go out of service. Both them and the R142s are capable of having CBTC installed on them as well. So even with the R262s, I think we will still have the R142(A)s for a while still (thankfully).

7601-7605, 7606-7610, 7596-7600 are now on the (4) like but we're originally on the (6) line, they were the last 15 R142A's that were transferred from the (6) to the (4) back in 2018

When the R262/As open and close ways the Pelham 6 line is definitely gonna have mix equipments R142As R262As end ways while the rest of the R142s From the 2 5 lines will had to the 1 3 lines. Not yet because they have to wait until the Brand New R262/As to come to replacing all of the R62AS R62S on the 1 3 6 S lines. Four lines is definitely stuck with the R62as back on the Pelham 6 line.

The R142As is not permanent yet until the Brand New R262/As open and close ways comes. The Pelham 6 line is stuck with the R62as until the R262/As comes for CBTCS.

It's not a R68/As for the iRT lines. The R62AS still exists on the 1 6 S lines. The R68 R68As exists on iND lines except for the BMT lines.
