ᴴᴰ R179 A Express Train to 207 St Announcements - From Lefferts - First Day of R179s on the A line.

Here is the R179 Version of the Automated announcements for the A Line to 207 Street. February 10th marked the first day that 10 car versions of the R179 train entered passenger service on the A line. These are the announcements from the first day with the weekend transfers. Additionally, Washington Heights 168 Street on the 1 line is also closed during this time for elevator replacement and a new transfer announcement was added at 207 Street.
From Ozone Park - Lefferts Blvd , Queens to Inwood - 207 Street in Upper Manhattan via Fulton Express / 8 Avenue Express / Central Park West Experss.

There's only 27-28% of R46s on the A line so remember to keep your eyes open for the R211A which is replacing all R46s on the A,C,N,Q,W, and G unfortunately the delivery was halted due to the pandemic that's going on now. There's also a R211S which will replace all SIR R44s which will start next year 2021-2023
