I have this exact RIOBEL Thermostatic Pressure shower valve setup for the 23 and it drips water constantly between the housing nut and the diverter trim piece that has the attachment for the handle. 1. Is this type of slow leak only caused by a cartridge that needs replacing or is there something about how this was assembled that could be causing the slow drip. 2. If it is the cartridge - which replacement cartridge should I order. 3. In either case, to get started after turning of the water - can I just pop the pressure fit cap with the temp indicator off with my fingers? Thanks very much.

I have the same dripping issue with a new install and the shower won't even shut off without using the stops

In my Riobel shower system, the trim plate keeps coming loose away from the tile. Is there a way to secure it better? Thanks for any advice in advance.

Hello Ram N; a small bead ring of silicone on the back of the trim plate, will help secure the installation to the wall. We hope this helps.

It's likely the rubber gasket wasn't moved forward from your thickness cover plate which is what happened to mine. After adjusting mine to the proper position the plate grabs more of the gasket and stays put. But the easier way would be to do what houseofrohl said and just use silicone to adhere it. The other way requires you to remove the handles and the plate behind the cover to change the gasket position

Terrible design why should you need silicone to keep that plate tight to the wall..

@@jordankivell3672 it makes for easy maintenance. But like I said earlier, if you adjust the gasket for the type of cover plate it'll be held on pretty secure by the rubber gasket.

@@Chanmantroop10 in my option removing and reinstalling silicone to keep the plate on is not great for maintenance. A simple set screw or even an additional trim that threads on to hold it against the shower wall would work better. For the price of the fixtures the way that the plate sits against the tile is unacceptable. Imagine having a square plate and constantly having to reposition it. The rest of the shower components are well thought out and seem to be of great quality.
