One day I'll go there, I'm under no illusions that as beautiful as it is, that living there as they have is not easy. Not after getting so used to 24/7 electricity and grocery stores around the corner. Those comforts we take for granted, I'll probably need to wean myself off before going. So as to not go into shock and start having the same symptoms as an alcoholic going 'cold turkey'. My clock is ticking....but this is one for my bucket list! Thank you for posting.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful video. I am a Cook Islander who's heritage is from the Islands of Rarotonga and Aitutaki. I now have a young family and reside in Canada. I truly hope one day I too am able to take them back to experience the beautiful Country and Islands part of them derive from. God Bless you and your family!

I just finished reading Tom Neale's "An Island to Oneself", and I must say this video was awesome to watch. That must have been such a treasure to have visited what is arguable one of the most beautiful places on earth. I hope you enjoyed your stay there and had many long lasting memories. I wish that one day I can visit this lovely place. Great Video!

Makes you wonder, is it like Brokeback Island for those two guys when no tourists are visiting? Surely they get lonely.

3:58 : not a tahitian song it's a Tongareva/Penrhyn song, another atoll near Suwarrow :)
