there are sensors indeed but currently no easily available in Pakistan and if available somewhere, they are very expensive. Ideally companies should themselves install a sensor both in indoor and outdoor units with alarm mechanism, after all people are spending nearly 2 lacs on buying an AC

R32 can be replaced with R410A. I have haier HFC 1.5 ton ac and only replace the r32 gas with 410a... and now feeling satisfied and my ac is also working well...

Bro very well explained I have some questions In case of gas leaking having no ignition source phir Bhi Kya blast kre ga In case of room gas leaking having no ignition source phir Bhi blast kre ga U said that in gas room leaking at what temperature achieving blast occurs having no source of fire

Thankyou for the feedback, It blasts majorly if there is gas leakage and concentration level reaches 14% with this an igniting source is present otherwise if there is no igniting source and outdoor temperature reaches to 648* by itself (This is very uncommon) only than it may blast otherwise no issues.

please answer one question: whenever we opt for service of AC using R32, should we take down the outer unit or should we clean it at its place? because now a days technicians take down the outer unit and in doing so, usually gas escapes the unit

Thankyou so much for the feedback sir, R32 overall is a good gas in comparison to R410 gas but it requires a bit of care only. Almost 70% units sold in this year were R32 gas. Almost all companies are inclined to use R32 gas in coming year. I hope it settles well in all aspects while prioritising the SAFETY FIRST.

Dear first of all thanks cause this is firts logical & informative session on R32 with technical specification/fire composition/ hazards & precautionary measures but still lot of things to be clarified by government/company this Gas(R32) in AC units used in Residential buildings is safe or unsafe and what is the safety barrier in case of leaking because ordinary people can't afford the LEL/Gas detectors like hydrocarbon process plants/commercial projects. 1) Leakage which is single largest cause if you overview the previous track record of incidents/accidents. Secondly it is not 100% preventable because of operational necessity that means there will be always chances of leakage over life cycle of AC. 2) Design/Quality of materials & Safety barriers belongs to design's existing or known / internally mechanisms hazards responsibility of Manufacturer not the responsibility of buyer 3) MSDS with Unit and certified technicians for installation & service should be listed area wise with rate list by company and make sure they should trained & have company certified/authorization card. 3) Manufacturer is responsible for the safety of people in all aspects and if he is not held this responsibility then people should boycott their products.

Thank you for right information. Following video is also telling same things. This gas has lower flammability limit of 13% and upper flammability of 28%. So if due to minor or major leakage the closed room has reached to this level of concentration then it is dangerous. Otherwise it is safe.
