I hope that you will do a proper job of this build and remove the engine beforehand. Also compression check the engine before mods, as it's most likely not going to last with crazy HP with such an old engine. Currently doing my RB26 build too. Awesome job.

Positive crankcase pressure is recirculated back to the intake of that rear turbo in the OEM configuration. THat would explain the oil buildup you saw. Turbo is most likely fine, given that there was no shaft play.

The oil is probably from the cam cover vent system, as the OEM pollution setup tends to dump oil into your rear turbo. A good catch can setup fixes the issue. Surprised you didn't go with a Full Race manifold. They are much better quality and move the turbo forward, so bigger turbo's fit without issue.

Dustin the rear turbo always has oil laying in the intake because of the vent hose from the valve covers. Turbo should still be good.

Gonna be epic! Be careful with the bottom end tho if you aren’t going to sleeve the block. The coolant pass through between cylinder 3&4 tends to crack at around 500 horsepower. Not a huge deal but it will always drip coolant after that Edit: drip* not drop
