I got an automatic as well, a few things Overdrive off has the car idling 500rpm higher and boost comes on quicker (it’s more sportier) and locks out 4th gear Overdrive on is for highway driving and fuel economy saving, The snow mode I believe has the car accelerating slower and I think in second gear Power mode flicks on automatically when you jam your foot down and is like sport mode too The gt badges on the side come in blue and white for non turbo, red and white for turbo and grey and red for gtr Also your car has a 40th anniversary shifter Great job overall

r33 GTS-T owner here. With GT-R's getting so ridicously expensive, the GTS-T is still a good bang for buck car, but what I notice is that there's a big difference of people who love Skylines that praise them in every single youtube video and people who love Skylines but actually own one. Engine-wise their bullet proof, I got a big single on mine pushing about 550 at the crank on stock internals and it handles the power just fine. My problems with it are spare parts that are getting more and more expensive and hard to find, the money pit you'll find yourself in if your RB starts misfiring and ofcourse rust. These cars are notorious for rusting (just like an S13) and it's a constant battle.

I had a Skyline GTS25t as a manual for 12 years (2000 to 2012) in Australia and it is still the best car i have ever owned. BTW the button you're asking about is for Japanese traffic conditions. It won't work now

@ellisjdm the "snow" mode for the gearbox should let you start from the 2nd gear and reduce torque to eliminate wheel spin in slippery conditions.

Good to see a honest review. Had mine since 2007 and still love it. Yes they eat wallets but you can smile all day when you turn the key. Enjoy your new ride.
