R33 Nissan GTR worth over a $1,000,000?? (Super Rare!)

The GTR 400r is one of the rarest GTRs in existence. Only 44 were built, and now just 40 are confirmed to exist. One sold recently for $1,700,000. if that gives you an idea what these things are worth to people. We got to see the ONLY one in North America at SEMA 2021

Working at the SEMA show filming at that stage all week I can't tell you how many times I my self and told my guys to tell people not to sit on the stand that car was on. People had no clue what they leaned against. I wish they had some more respect for some of the vehicles at the show. Saw them driving down the road and setting up the display at the show. Made respect for Top Rank for bringing this car out and for SEMA to let them display it. Thanks 1320 for showcasing it on your channel.

I was at SEMA and seen a bunch of people huddled up next to this car just to see them look up on stage and not at the car. Ok. so that HAS to be the most impressive car I've seen covered ANYWHERE!!!! 😳 👌 😀 I'm so jealous you got to actually see and touch it irl. This was my FAVORITE cars in the original Gran Tourismo games when I was younger. All my friends and I building our own specs and going head to head racing them and loading memory cards.. OMG.. ALL the time wasted just sitting and waiting on that old Playstation to load garages... lmao but it was always worth it. I know it's a matter of opinion but the R33 is going to age best in my opinion. Call it the "ugly duckling" if you will but it's the most smooth and understated compared to the boxier R32 and R34. Idk why but the older I get the better looking they become. So understated yet undeniably a Skyline. They are all stunning though and this car truly has me in awe.

I still think the zero r is much rarer then the 400r is . But still that’s an amazing piece of machinery made by the legendary NISMO on the golden age of JDM cars . Nismo 400R's are great looking cars, plus they worked the engine a bit, giving it a slight bore/stroke to 2.8 litres, block reinforcement and improved cooling channels on top of the go-fast bits. Another exceptionally rare Nismo to look out for is the Nismo 270R, based off the S14 Silvia's Only 30 of those were made

As an Aussie, and a fan of Group A and Group C Touring Cars, The Nissan GTR is more ten a halo car, it is the thing legends are made of. If 4 of the 44 have never been spotted, I'd expect they would have been used for the Gibson Motorsport race cars, or parts used on the racecars, especially the carbon fibre sections and the larger motor.

Yup NISMO 2.8 stroker crank with forged rods and forged pistons. RB26 factory cast pistons have oil galley. The block mounted oil squirter injects oil inside the piston and drains out the other side. 400R has forged version that retains oil gallery. They machine a donut into the top of the piston. Then weld a ring over the top and machine flat. This leaves a hollow cavity inside the piston. Then machine inlet and outlet holes on the bottom of piston for oil to flow through. You can still buy the pistons but a set is $5,000 or 10,000. I forgot off the top of my head. The crank, rods and pistons used to be $10,000 and pistons alone were $5,000. But I think they might have raised pistons to $10,000. You can still buy a new 2.8L GT-X GT2 engine for $30,000-40,000 (maybe more now)

Believe it or not, the R33 400R is NOT the rarest GT-R (and neither is the R34-Z NISMO Z-Tune). The rarest GT-R of all is the R33 GT-R Vspec N1 (of which only 11 were made). Next is the Vspec II N1, of which 18 were made, one less than the NISMO Z-Tune.
