Awesome engine guys! What are the specs,cost & power goal of the whole engine & turbo setup? I trying to get hold of one but it's easier to find rocking horse shit over here in England.

Forged RB30DET with a R33 RB25 S2 head. Engine assembled by me, machining done at various shops. Internals; Spool Rods, CP Pistons, Spool billet oil pump gears and oil crank collar, Tomei 256 cams, Tomei springs. Bolt ons; RIPS intake plenum, 1200cc Bosch injectors, LS2 Coilpacks, 6Boost exhaust manifold, Turbosmart 50mm wastegate, ProBoost GTX35. Support; Haltech plugin Pro ECU (3BAR map, air temp and wideband), Turbosmart 1200FPR, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, -8AN feed lines and -6AN return. Engine made 435rwhp and 425ftlb with 18psi on pump fuel. Cost was about 10 - 12k in AUD

Sounds sweet & looks the part what are the plans for it after this? $10-12k fuck me iyou don't want to know how much i quoted for basically the same setup he was definitely trying to have me over conning bastard! Is the block itself out of a Holden Commodore vl? How would feel about building me an engine same spec as this obviously labour ontop the initial cost? Call me a cheeky cunt & tell me to do one i've got broad shoulders. Is the car a R33 GTS-25t or similar model? Regards Neal

Drifting and the odd time attack or hill climb, maybe some street use eventually Just the engine from a renowned builder here in Aus will set you back at least 12k, so I can imagine how crazy those numbers might be for you. Block is from a R31 Skyline (Australian delivered model), as all the engines that came in the R31's have the oil feel for the turbo, while some of the VL engines did not. I can do it again, but it's entirely your call if you're willing to send the coin upfront and trust some random bloke across the pond. That and I do not have the fuzziest about the best way to ship the thing. The car is indeed a R33 GTS-25t

I suppose compared to England there are 100's of places to go drifting with the size Australia it's massive at the side of here. The hill climbing would be a blast well anything is good day out with a good amount of power under the bonnet. 12k is still cheap at the side of what i was quoted how much are the Turbo's alone? I heard 2 sides to the pricing the first is there relatively cheap & second is the opposite so what is the truth behind them average? I used to sell Fuel pumps & injectors from a company called Precision Engine Components www.peconline.com.au/ the price difference between them & here was astronomical. Aren't the R31's pretty rare? I would have thought the VL turbo had the oil feed for the turbo haven't they? Yes you are basically a stranger,Are you on Facebook by any chance to speak to you about it on there?
