@@TommyMccoyMedia you can’t legally register a gtt under show and display 😂. Probably a Florida titled car that was illegally imported. Only mid night purple 2 and M spec nur in millennium jade are show and display eligible. Some states don’t care about what cars you can title and register.

Put Skyline GTR panels on a non GTR Skyline thats ok , its quite common. But put GTR badge on one , thats a crime. Thats worse than putting a STI badge on a 2.5 Impreza.

No it isn't. The GTT is just as capable as the GTR accept it's Rwd. If you've gone through the effort of converting the body, you might as well finish it off with the badges. Especially when the cars running 500bhp and is faster than most real GTR'S

@@aidan8585 thank you, just so you know, the rb26 engine covers fit the rb25 neo head so the engines can look identical. Interior wise, it's just the seats, console on the top and the dash. All can be changed very easily and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference

@@aidan8585 but the point is, the gtt is a better car than the gtr. Its rwd, its lighter because it doesn't have to lug around the AWD system, the engine is more reliable and capable of 1000bhp also, so it's not like putting a sti badge on a standard Impreza. The only issue is that it has a narrow body and doesn't look as nice. Once you've sorted out the body and made the engine 500bhp, I don't see what the issue is in putting GTR badges on a gtr bodied gtt? They are just badges and complete the overall look.

@@aidan8585 anyone can afford one. It's not hard. I've done a lot of research on which engine is better as I was thinking of doing an engine swap. The RB25 neo is the last production of all the RB engines so all the issues from older models have be sorted like the RB26. As said, it's more reliable has more torque and can take the same power. I've had a AWD car before with the celica gtfour and I can tell you, AWD systems are boring, all you can do with them is go fast around corners. The GTT is more of a purist car, it's way more fun to drive, only the looks let it down. Get the looks right, the power right and it's the ultimate Skyline. Rwd gtr

@@aidan8585 the RB26 was produced from 1989 to 2002 with very minor changes. Effectively a r34 RB26 engine is the same as a r32 rb26 engine. The rb25 neo was produced from 1998 to 2002. It is the last RB engine to be invented. Hence why it's the most reliable. Both engines can achieve 1000bhp. It is the better engine of the two.

yeah but really all you'd have to do it RB26 swap this and it would pretty much be a GTR. The only thing that would give it away is the chassis number and the registery documents

Just so you know, there is such a thing called a R34 GT4. It has a AWD system just like the GTRs but insteas it goes through the sump of the engine instead of the gearbox, so you can't swap this AWD system with a RB26 as the sumps aren't the same. But anyway, who would want a RB26 engine when its worse than the rb25 neo in terms of reliability and torque. This car with the same power would be faster than any R34 GTR in a straight line. What you can do if you love the look of the rb26 is change the rb25 cam covers with Rb26 covers, they bolt straight on.

actually all Skylines' (GTR,GTT. and GTST) are legal in the US because they are over 25 years old but the r34 GTR is kinda hard to get since it's only 19 or 20 years old. r34 GTT is a good Skyline to get and also it's cheap.

The GTT had a AWD version called the GT4. It had a rb25de engine so non turbo with the front drive system going through the sump. The GTR had a getrag gearbox with the front drive system going through the gearbox. It's very easy to swap the sump and make your RB25DET Neo engine AWD. It's not as sophisticated as the GTR AWD system as it's permanent but it's pretty good. At the end of the video watching the car and owning a GTT myself, I believe it had this AWD system
