AmberElec is my OS of choice for my RG351P and that will probably never change! All My roms ran perfectly on it compared to ArkOs and JELOS that had saving issues with Drastic and rom compatibility issues with other consoles, even simple ones. I play allot of Rom hacks so compatibility is my main concern.

Hello, thanks for the video and test. I got my own R36S and i am on testing currently. Can you check the cpu frequency with AmberELEC? I see mine at 1200, 1268 or 1368 when overclock. Should 1.5 correct?

i tested it and i really liked more easy to use, conects quicker to internet, i can still play vice city port, dream cast stop looking pixelated but it doesnt run fluid like arkos, is there anything i can do for dreamcast?

the most noticeable is this OS not support FAT32, which default of ArkOS. You must reformat into exFAT

God I wish I could get silent hill origins psp to work. No matter what I do I can't get it to run properly after the initial cutscene. I'm on the Dec 2023 build should I upgrade to this?

Is not a better system it is just different, some people just prefer emuelec, because of the way how you set up everything .emulators are pretty much the same, and as what I've tried performance is similar, and some psp games had less fps, but as I haven't got time to proper test, I can not say anything else about it yet. I personally like it

Quick test reveal that heavy system like psp, dreamcast, and n64 have a slightly better frame rate compare to ArkOS. PSX and below show have no problem.

i tried this and when i put the games card in and restart it says that i need to reformat my game card. "unsupported games filesystem detected. Please reformat with exFAT or ext4." if i take the game card out and boot it it will start up fine but it doesnt like that game card that i use for my arkos 2.0

The card needs to be formatted as exfat probably you didn't format your card for this type

How do you get playstation, and dreamcast? I have my r36s updated to arkos2.0 and neither of these systems are listed.

Systems are listed when you've got games in that folders , is not about your system version , on your games card you've got over 50 emulators and if you drag the roms to proper folder your console will recognised this and show you on your menu , aekos 2.0 is version which every9ne have is about the date I'm using the newest always as is always better and better , if git git old one from 2022 you never gonna get my performance

amberelec doesn't have anything to change , it is ready to go system .You did something wrong if is not working

@@jacu27 I tried it twice, with the same results. It had even created the file system and folders in the game partition after I shut it down, but the screen never came on. After I copied and renamed one of the -linux dtb files from my stock install, I got it to boot, but the boot logo looked weird (2 vertical "amberelec" logos across the top with a larger horizontal at the bottom), and it seemed like features were missing in the OS. Mine was sold by "cutesliving" on aliexpress, but the "game console" packaging seemed to match everything i've seen online. I tried Jelos using a similar process (following their instructions), with no luck either. I flashed a new ArkOS, copying the dtb files, and that worked flawlessly.

It is hard to say, literally it is depends on preferences ,but for.me r36s as it have normal dpad ,but e6 is more comfortable as are bigger and horizontal console

the OTG port supports USB WiFi & Bluetooth dongles, I've tried using a generic PS style controller to no avail. That being said its a linux based console, some of the other emulation software might support gamepad input but I dont know. Jacek might be able tos shine some light on this@@GiGatoQ

I should say I used a wired generic PS style USB controller with 2 different USB C OTG adapters and it didnt work, maybe another controller would... maybe different emulation software would support a gamepad. Currently looks like no.@@GiGatoQ
