It would be interesting how much offset is right for Flattrack? Stock R6 is about 30mm offset in the triple clamps, but that‘s for a 17inch wheel. I was guessing about 50mm but what do you think?

Thx again for valuable info. Not sure to understand (mine is not yet disassembled) Dav is increasing the length using a new (longer) sliding tube to be able to increase travel or does it need to change only the internal cartridge ?

What year range are typically used in flat track applications? Secondly what is the fork tube diameter going into the trees.

Do flat trackers adjust forks different left side or right side for taking left hand corners on the track, I bought a sportster with inverted front forks and it feels like it corners better, smoother on left corners. Little wobble on right corners.

They do not. Or at least I don't. Some forks are designed to do different jobs in the suspension stroke, but somehow this does not impact handling. @@FlatTrackFactory took it for another ride today and it mostly wobbles on right hand corners when on the throttle. Bike has a 1250 kit with high compression and polished intake, Solid lifters and a cam. Think it's lifting the front wheel enough to loose traction and make it wobble cause I can't make it do it when I'm off the throttle. But I will check forks for play and rear wheel aliment.

Quick question for you what size are those stock R6 fork tubes (for the trees), and what year range R6 forks are typically used? Thinking about putting a set on my HD Hooligan.

43mm. '99-'09 approximately. Don't be afraid to call Davey and ask. Tell him you saw him here!

@fjp Could be. I'm not super knowledgeable on when they switched to inverted. I am fairly sure that any of the more recent R6 conventional are 43mm and will work. Davey would be the better resource.
