@@faspete2nd I have a KZbin channel, I shoot a video with the camera, but the focus while shooting the video is not adjusted and the lighting is not adjusted as well. The settings may not be adjusted. Can you watch the latest video on my channel to see the filming and give me advice?

Really cool. R6 was clearly better, the M6 was ok, usable for sure, but not as good as the R6. Does the R6 also do 4k 60fps?

The M6 did great! I don't think you would be able to tell there was a difference if they were not side by side. The M6 holds up just fine. Yes. The R6 does 4k 60.

@@faspete2nd I felt like between the M6 and the R6 if often depended on the shot, the quality difference may have been more the challenge of manual focus, I find the focus peaking isn’t alway dead on the money, and sometimes the shots end up a little out of focus. 4K 60 is awesome, I have it on the X-T3, but man it eats card space. R6 vs M6 4K video will be interesting, the M6 was always given a hard time about soft 4K, but I don’t find it too far behind my X-T3.

@@markwiemels 4k comparison video is on the list. I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I would be able to compare these cameras in 2 videos. It's going to be more like 20.

@@faspete2nd I see more difference between the talking head shots when switching between the M6 mark ii and the R6 than in the 120fps clips 😄 Might just be the settings? 😊 I’m actually surprised that there wasn’t more difference between the two cameras. Well done M6 mark ii 😊👍🏼

@@RogerAVHansen I set both cameras to 1080p, 30fps, 1/60sec @50mm, f/4, ISO 1250. When I showed how to enable 120fps on the R6 I forgot to switch the settings back and shot that segment at 60 frames per second at 1/125sec. I couldn't figure out why that segment looks so much different than the others until I realize what I did.

It does shoot 120fps but does not support audio.

Wow, the difference is actually quite noticeable. I have been using my M50 for my drumcovers for my YT channel and for family pictures. I really want to upgrade to fullframe this year. The R6 really seems to be best bang for your buck for the enthusiast market. The lenses are quite expensive though. I wanted to wait for the Sony A7IV to come out, but Sony seems to not have any plans for that. Also, the usability is so much better with Canon. Do you think the R6 will overheat when shooting a 30min video with 4k/25p?

You should have no problem shooting 4k for 30min

Hi Peter, nice video thanks, i think there is an additional crop factor for 120fps on m6 mark II, because when I shoot full HD and then 120fps back to back the same scene, the 120fps video has been a little bit cropped, and also color little bit different as well, on 120fps colors little bit warmer I think. Too much pain in the ass for a little camera :)

I'm not much interested in slow motion. What really impressed me is how crisp was R6 and soft M62. I could tell it by your beard during talking head shots. What lenses have you used on each, dude?

I used the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 on the M6 and the 50mm f/1.8 on the R6. I tried to match the focal length on the 18-35 to 50mm.

This is exactly what I was trying to figure out and exactly what was happening to me... why I can’t shoot in slow mo and yet my focus is way off? 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m trying to shoot in 4k yet my slow mo was in low quality and I can’t focus. I’m try to figure out a way to fix this 🤯

Thanks Man! I am currently using the M50. Been getting some better ef glass to push my skills. Now I am like what do I do with this body. Slow mo on the m50 sucks! Maybe I need to just bite the bullet and go full frame. Or switch to Sony. Change my mind every day. LOL

You can't go wrong with either camera. Sell the M50 and put that money toward another body or keep it and use it as a backup.
