When I was a kid my dad used to have all kinds of bikes, Custom, Dirt and Sport and he always told me that if I ever become a bikerider, that you can always trust your bike to lean more then what you think. If you lean WITH your bike there won’t be any problems unless there’s oil or a lot of small rocks. These guys clearly didn’t lean enough though. You can tell from the pov of the crash that he didn’t lean/turn nearly enough

If you run off the road cause you can't make yourself lean the bike you need to park it, leave the keys in it, and walk home. Get up on the pegs and push the inside grip until your turning radius matches the corner and whatever lean angle that produces is the lean angle you just got comfortable with. You made your bed when you overcooked the corner trying to out brake your buddy, now you gotta get that face down close to the pavement. Most modern bikes with stock suspension and good tires can drag pegs all day. It will hold if you can be smooth on the controls.
