I may add a set screw to the one I bought years ago that I told you about to lock the float. Although it’s no big deal to remove a tool or collet with a power draw bar.

Good idea to add a locking screw, I wrongly assumed the holder was hardened. On Bridgeport type machines the fastest way is probably to use a keyless chuck.
