You can't always blame the manager for people coming in and not being good enough. He was a decent striker, nothing more and clearly wasn't capable of adapting to the Premier League.

@@richardsmith9615 no he barely played him even when giroud wasn't scoring goals. Southampton as an example he scored a ridiculous volley when we were 3 nil down. And most of the time he was being played on the flank and not as a strikers which he preferred. And wenger toward the end of his tenure couldn't really manage the team anymore in general hence why he retired. Also Richard learn to accept accountability, because guess what wenger wasn't exempted. He should've retired ages ago to protect his legacy only to ruin it with opposing fans wanting him to stay...
