"Better go and get Hidden inside Better go and get And head inside I told you I would get you At the back of the house I told you I would find A place to go Paper trails on a mountain And fruits on the table A wooden house to house to live in A baby; take care of The grass is green but the The sun is blue Better find a way To get through to you Where are you when I need you? Where did you go? How can I find you when I need you? Where should I go? Paper trail on a mountain Better find a way A big trail on mountain You'll find a way The fire outside Is burning up the place But you're inside Burning up my head Paper trails on a mountain And fruits on a table A wooden house to live in A baby; take care of"

And suddenly my territory lonely life full of agonizing despair, sorrow and loss has been miraculously transformed into a romantically tagic saga of Epic proportion.....thanks fellas, I owe you one! Sadness never sounded so cool. Tell God I want this playing during my life review.
@susanhenry40734 жыл бұрын
I'm 70 years old. I found this soundtrack about 5 years ago and played it again and again, night after night, for about 2 years. I still play it often, although not quite so obsessively. I've decided that if I get COVID-19 and get super-sick, or when I'm on my death bed, period, I want my daughter to play this to me again and again. Like you said, it's life review music. Plus, for some weird reason, it makes me feel kinda peaceful.

@DJGlashammer3 жыл бұрын
really cool sound and they do it really great. but annoying that the claps and rims are out of rhythm and at the beginning of the FX I find too cheap and big loud reverb. The volume of instruments doesn't always match either - but it's live and therefore really great what they have put out of there. Respect 👍👍

I see the majority of people think this is about a mother and child in an abusive home, and I can see that upon reading these takes on the theme, but I've always personally felt like it is just from the lyricists pov concerning themes severe depression and anxiety and how confused and hopelessly lost in your head you can get during bad episodes made worse by big life events, good or bad, happening at the same time. A war between logic and emotion overtakes and the smallest decisions could make or break you. Of course, this is just my take away I've always had, relative to myself because I've had years with mental illness as a nasty copilot. Whatever the song actually meant, it is one the best songs I've ever come across. It just pulls you in, hypnotic, and you can feel the emotion in every line and beat and guitar strum. This live version is a BEAST compared to the album version!
