Raag Bhopali with Sabir Khan & Heiko Dijker

Dear friends & music lovers here is a small clip of me singing Raag Bhopali. With the one and only Sabir Khan on the Sarangi and Heijko Dijker on the tabla. This video was taken at the home of Ted, who himself was the student of Ustad Faiyaz Khan (tabla).
Sabir Khan is the son of the great sarangi meastro the late Ustad Sultan Khan. Sabir's playing style is unique and incredible. He is succesfully carrying his father's tradition and it was a great honor being able to spend time, learn and make music with him.
Heijko Dijker is an renowned Dutch tabla player. He himself is the disciple of Ustad Faiyaz Khan. He is one of the few people that brought Hindustani Classical Music to the Netherlands and for that the community is greatful. Great pleasure to spend time with him.
I have started sharing clips because, first of all, people have encouraged me to do so as they thought we had a talent. And hereby I truely want to thank everybody that has helped, encourged and enjoyed our music. Secondly, I know there are people out there that think that Indian/Afghan Classical Music is vanishing. However by uploading content I hope to spread the word of beauty and significance of classical music and inspire other youngsters like us to not be afraid and to come forth with their talents.
