Panditji captivated us just within five notes of Raga Bhoop D S R G P D and many variations within these five notes. Outstanding and very melodious rendition. Raga Bhoop has got long swarantaras among its musical notes and hence it requires tremendous mastery and Riyaz to sweeten the rendition. Panditji has achieved this mastery.

He was one of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Saheb's student. U can see the Patyali gayaki in his rendition.

Pt Jagdish Prasad was the student of ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.. and Pt Ajoy Chakrabarty also learnt from Ustad Munawar As li Khan the son of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.. so in a way they both learnt in Kasur Patiala style . That's the reason they got to sing the same bandish
