But, no one on the planet can sing that today (perhaps Rashid Khan, Parveen Sultana, or Kaushiki). Finally, this is followed by a lot of classical tabla mridang work and some taraana bols mixed with sitar etc. All exquisite and fairly tough for today's bollywood singers. Those were different times when the best of Indian music shined in movies. But "Lungi Dance" has ruined bollywood, just my old fart opinion. Most young people nowadays haven't heard of the word raga, much less Raga Hameer, but they've heard of "Lungi Dance" for sure. Really enjoyed this even more classical version sung by Guru Paramjeet.
