Agra and Gwalior are the 2 principal vocal Gharanas for Dhrupad and Khyal. All Gharanas eventually emerged out of the influence of these 2. Kirana, Patiala came from Gwalior; Jaipur-Atrauli came from Agra. Delhi Gharana also is a very old Gharana, but unrefined in comparison to these 2.

Yes, Agra Gharana is Agra Gharana. The Royal Gharana. That’s why it’s also called रंगीला घराना.
