This is a beautiful vintage concert of Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty hosted by Komal Nishad. This was a morning concert organized on 21st November, 1999. Panditji started his recital with Raag Bhairav and continued on to perform Raag Charukeshi. The concert was in two parts and the second part was opened with Raag Vrindavani Sarang followed with Raag Jogiya Kalingda. All parts of the concert have been uploaded.

Komal Nishad is a charitable organization operating out of Vadodara, Gujarat. We have been organizing hindustani classical music recitals for over 30 years now. We try to bring the best artists of Hindustani Classical Music to our audiences in Vadodara, and now to the world, through KZbin. All our concerts are ticketless, as we think, classical music should be brought to the masses, and if it is a ticketed concert, it wouldn't reach as many people who love art in this form.

Very rare rendition by Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty...I mean I have heard so many raagas rendered by the Great Maestro...But I am hearing for the first time this beautiful Raaga in his voice...And no words can describe the beauty of this rendition...After Pt. Bhimsen Joshi's famous rendition at Amaravati and Vidshi Veena Sahasrabudhe's rendition this is another Great rendition of Vrindavani Sarang I have heard so far....
