Bearing=180-90*(1+sign(N))*(1-sign(E^2))-45*(2+sign(N))*sign(E)-180/pi*sign(N*E)*atan((abs(N)-abs(E))/(abs(N)+abs(E))) with E=E2-E1 and N=N2-N1 using this formula you can find the bearing in any of the four quadrants and for any pair of values of N and E excluding N=E=0 where the bearing is undefined.
