Fear Evolved is and has always been the best event in ARK. So many different skins, emotes and of course the Dodo-bosses are always fun to get and beat. It's really sad that this will be the last one we'll get. So let's enjoy it as much as we can

im kind of annoyed at wildcard, because how hard can it be to just put fear evolved on a schedule to happen every year? There’s games made in 2014 like Plants Vs Zombies GW2 that still have a scheduled yearly Halloween event. But even if they aren’t going to do that, they could at least make it so you can activate fear evolved at any time on single player or a server without the event being live. (The single player event setting doesn’t work for fear evolved unless it’s already active(therefore it’s basically pointless)) I hope wildcard does something about this

Should be able to. When launching your save or new single player mode, in the settings go to the ADVANCED tab and scroll to the bottom. There you should see a textbox called "Active Event:" Type in: FearEvolved You should be good to go.

@@MrLinkinJason im on official and op lol. 1 giga killed it. just got one tonight. he dropped chibis and 500 of every event material and 3 dodos survived so i got them too. if you got a giga with like 2000 attack you can stomp him. and i only had a 70 armor saddle. he only did 3000 damage to me. they nerfed his fire so hes actually weaker than titano basically. way more health but you can solo it with a decent giga. o and he didnt aggro till i was rightttt next to him. he just stands there till you attack him basically. hes not like a wild giga. he wont shreck your base unless you attack i don't think.

@@colonelradec5956 yeah I have a group of 8 or 10 shadowmanes and he despwaned just as I got to him, but I got him again the next night. And with 8 or 10 extremely mutated and leveled shadowmanes I destroyed him within 30 seconds.

@@MrLinkinJason o yep shadows for sure. i remember his fire used to be stronger than dragons but they musta nerfed it cause it basically does nothing now. i only used giga to save time un cryoing stuff. yea i had like 30 seconds left till day so its close if you findem late 😂 hoped on giga and just yoloed.

Once the event ends, what will happen to the two dodo bosses? I really hope wildcard add a new way to summon them in the final update, like a new craftable consumable much like the savage acro in the ark additions mod

If I recall correctly, the Dodorex lives on in a mission on one of the Genesis maps. I believe the Dodowyvern should get the same treatment.

i think they will. i think the community worries too much. ark devs have a history of being slow to react or retracting their words. they will not leave ark 1 in a sorry state. they know people love it. i bet by the end we get some pretty huge quality of life patches and probably alot of cool stuff patched in as a sendoff.

Now it doesn’t, so even if wanna activate “FearEvolved” by inputting that in active event, all you’ll get is event wild Dino’s colors. But I know they’re made a mod that compiles everything for FearEvolved in steam. Ofc only works on steam.

the dodo wyvern can spawn anywhere on scorched earth not just at the world scar im in the middle of my own ultimate ark run and im on scorched earth and ive had the dodo wyvern spawn in a few times in the north by blue ob and the northeast desert once the ruins cave and 1 at the scar but under ground

I think wildcard will eventually have to allow legacy events once ark 1 servers go down over the next few years so private servers can host all the events. because people are going to miss this

I’d love to be able to do this event legit but I just don’t think I’m going to have enough time to either make heavy auto turrets & bullets, or breed up a dino army, so thank you so much for including the cheat codes in here. I hate having to cheat, but I’m not going to miss out on these last time rewards because I just don’t have the time to put in the effort required to slay these bosses. That being said, if anyone has any tips on relatively quick ways to get the means to defeat the dodorex or dodowyvern I would love to hear em!

@@user-g4r1d unfortunately no, I don’t think so. Certain ones like the vampire eyes you can get through achievements I believe it is, but for most of em no. It’s not ideal but my advice would be cheat in duplicates of the skins if you’ve gotten them legitimately, just so that if something happens and you lose them you have copies. Plus, if you’ve gotten them properly beforehand like yeah it’s cheating but not really yknow. If you aren’t in the position to do that then you’re just gonna have to be careful

Its possible cheat on official servers without get warning or ban? I start in Ark less than 1 month. And i only played host / solo. But i want those items on a character in a official server 😢

@@lucassacht7182 sadly no :( you could ask around, either within your tribe or with other tribes on the server if they have any of the rewards to spare and if they’re willing to share them, or maybe even craft them for you. Depending on how old the server is, how frequently people have been playing, and generally just if people are willing and/or able to help out, it may or may not work but it’s definitely worth a try! Just ask nicely and if people have the time or resources to help they probably will. Could even offer trades if you have anything of equal value that they need yknow

No matter the chibi besides the noglin (or whatever it's name is) will disappear if you die. I've lost several unicorn chibis that way

I honestly hated this event. Was playing solo. Event ended abruptly without warning can't use any of my remaining bones for anything. And all of the Dino candies that I stocked up on thinking they would be permanent disappeared after the event...... It was literally a complete waste of time playing the game.
