Back to the old days memory when you started your channel during the Covid days, I remember this was the format. And after such a long time when you are sitting just with your own simple, minimal means you’re at your most vulnerable and most innocent version of the purest that you carry. And when I listened to you sing this song , it was a smile upon my face that never ceased to be, so clearly, the joy that you experience while diving into the compositions is the joy that you transmit and add motivation to the lives of listeners. I think in this format, we audience, feel informally connected So you owe it to us now and then; actually as often as you can! You could just have managed to use the chords upon your instrument to ensure the flow of some musical accompaniment. Continue to allow yourself to talk as spontaneously as you do. It’s really valued. Just one or two places the pronunciation of the words: actually the phonetic sounds that are only there in Punjabi that you fell short of. Also i found the pace of the song faster than it calls for, for there is a lilting soothing tone to it that is complimented by that pace🙏🏻🙏🏻☺️ Your acknowledgement is always a fuel!

❤soulful singing...no words Quora-Fahad Nazeer explains lyrics.. …… This song is about a Desi guy spending his life abroad and missing the River named “Ravi” located in Pakistan now and he is saying “i wish river Ravi somehow Disembouge through here so my life long wish ll fullfil and i ll no longer miss my Culture my friends my lover”another mistake people are doing is converting Punjabi words into urdu and translating them……”nai” in urdu means new but in punjabi it also means “no or nothing” so in second part the Guy is saying that “There is no water in River Ravi means his thoughts are getting dizzy coz he is away from home for quite some time and he started to forget how River Ravi actually looks and he is forgetting his village his culture and there is no one to share his sad story so he dissolved all the water in his eyes and used it as a balm to his wounds of loneliness!” So to wrap it up this song is all about a Desi guy missing his homeland while forcefully working in abroad…… a true masterpiece from Maestro “Sajjad Ali”

Absolutely wonderful! I am a Marathi guy but I can speak & understand decent Punjabi as I have lived in Punjab for 3 years. I feel singing this was like a cakewalk for you Rahul as your musical repertoire is so much bigger than Sajja Ali. Having Said that, Pakistani Artists are at par with Indian artists when it comes to talent but their music is not structured as ours. They hardly perform classical concerts as audiences are more in to Punjabi folk music & Gazals. Only handful listen to Classical Music.
