This is so awesome :3 I didn't like Matt at first, but upon hearing this song I realized it was just because the songs he sang with Three Days Grace were written for Adam's voice and didn't sound right with Matt's. This one was written for Matt's voice yet kept the TDG style and I just love it. Barry's an awesome songwriter and to be honest I think his music is what makes TDG themselves, not the singer who sings it. Though I must admit I miss Adam a lot and I kinda imagine him singing the song.

What I think about while listening to this song, being a long-term self-harmer: "You know you need a fix when you fall down, you know you need to find a way to get you through another day." I need something to get me through my insecurities, to kill my mind, to let pain out just a little faster. The pain of having no one fades away as I realize that I have my anxiety as company. "Love me 'til it's all over, over. 'Cause I'm the shoulder you cry on, the dose that you die on. I can be your pain killer, killer, killer." I grow my addiction to self-destructive thoughts, as I will until I gather the courage to end it. It's all I have, it's all I need as a painkiller. "I know what you want so desperately.. You know I'll give you one for free, forever you're coming back to me." A lightness begins to fill me as my anxiety makes me wrap myself in a hug, though caused of pain. I'll forever return to my habits, no matter how much pain comes from ending my 2 months clean. "Now I'm gonna give you what you need, I know what you feed on, what you lean on, what you lead on." I'm once again taken over by such addiction, as I marvel at the blood ruining my sheets. Not gonna lie, Three Days Grace is one of the few bands that managed to stay fantastic after switching lead singers. They still have the same sound, they still have phenomenal lyrics, there's nothing really different about their music aside from the new singer, and he's a badass in my opinion. I didn't even know they were getting a new singer and I'm an avid three days grace fan however they still kick ass and anyone who says differently obviously can't recognize real unique talent this band would be hard to find a replacement and I think they did a kick ass job

No I'm super upset about Adam leaving. And THIS song sounds like Darkest Days kinda stuff, they could at least keep the same sound. Guess this is like when Tarja left night wish and Annette joined. People who were used to Tarja didn't like Annette's sound but I actually started listening to night wish after Annette became the lead so i prefer Annette over Tarja but I've been hearing Adam for over 10 years, no one can top him as lead of 3DG.
