Cracking review. Trying to research this bag has been a pain as none of the large high street retailers seem to stock it. I have only been hiking about 6 months and have a Beghaus Arrow 30 Rucksack. I walk fairly quickly and dont really like stopping to take the bag off for drink, snack etc hence i like the look of the Ultra. I do find the berghaus a bit big now i have bought all lightweight gear. I was tempted by the ultra 20 but like you i want those hip pockets haha i think i might just go for it and order it 😬😬

@@sonkaldebi I love the bag for running and day hiking you’ll not go wrong with this one, I’ve got a beghaus day sac as well but it I’m on the hills this is my go to now just don’t overload it as the straps have little padding as it’s ment to be a lightweight fast moving pack.

It’s holding up really well, my only complaint is the chest straps as I have a big chest and I often pop them. The pack is aimed as being fast and light so if you’re not jumping loads of gear walking it’s a great pack.

Yes mate done a fair bit of running in it and if you get the straps right it doesn’t bounce around at all. But the chest straps can spring loose so I tend to push them together if I’m running with it. Hope this helps.

@alancauser2229 hello 👋, could you tell me if the zip on your bag, located in the h20 pocket (and used to access the back cushion) is fitted backwards and doesn't have the bit that you'd pull...I can't imagine why they'd design it that way but my bag arrived like that! I'm waiting for Rab to advise but wondered if you could check?... please 🙏
