Yar anyway you could start putting up proper lessons from someone like me who has never played an instrument in their life but wants to learn the rabab. I’d really appreciate that
Bhai could you please specify that what is the correct technique to handle the rabab for beginners as for me I am complete beginner I usually tend to see both sides (fret board and strings) at same time while playing the sargam which makes very difficult to learn for a beginner. Could you please elaborate in upcoming videos.
@HamzaJamil4 жыл бұрын
It's normal for beginners to look on both sides, I would recommend focusing on right hand first, after you are able to play strings separately then focus on left hand and the fret board.

What should be the size of pick like in mm I bought for guitar as I couldn’t find for rabab it has like 0.72 then 0.96mm so which one is ok for rabab
@HamzaJamil3 жыл бұрын
If I say between these then 0.96, if you are struggling with multiple strokes then use small gauge, if you are ok with multiple strokes then use 1.2mm or 1.50mm. The higher gauge has more sound. The lower gauge picks give less sound but there is crisp in sound..so choice is yours!
