Tzedaka is the mitzvah of giving charity and helping people less fortunate than yourself. Rabbi B shows how everyone can give Tzedaka and how fast that money can grow. Through a fun song, which anyone can sing when someone does a mitzvah, with a great story about Elazar Ben Birta and using a craft anyone can do, Rabbi B, Dvora and KUGL the Robot teach about this wonderful mitzvah in a fun and engaging way.
The difference between Tzedaka and charity is that charity is typically done out of one's own kindness. Tzedaka, on the other hand, is money Hashem (G-d) has given you to give out on His behalf. The money we set aside as Tzedaka is really not ours to begin with.
Rabbi B recommends the following books on the topic of Tzedaka:
Ten Tzedaka Pennies by Joni Klein-Higger
The Very Best Place for a Penny by Dina Herman Rosenfeld
