I love what he says about authenticity driving the desire to do mitzvot, it goes beyond saying it's the thought that counts.

Much of this is discussed in the Harvard course 'Justice' which I believe is also available on youtube. But the part about 'saving' vs 'killing' is very profound. Thank you.

Kaže se: niko nije govorio kao ovaj čovek. Tako i treba jer je rekao Nemija"čitaj zakon božji razgovetno i razloži smisao da znaš šta si čitao. Tako da mi se vaša propoved svidja i na pravom je mestu. Pozdrav i hvala.

If I am alone on the train, I would just go off from the track other way where the people are standing, hoping that I will survive. There is no way to know which person is more valuable, and even that idea, that one is more valuable than the other is in itself unmoral. Everyone has the same value and importance in the life. A streetcleaner can have a high value on place, where the streets are unhigienic and endangering public health, a farmer is highly valuable where people are starving, a teacher is high value on a place where people cannot even read. There is no difference in their value. On the train should have more emergency break what the driver can pull if needed. More, so if one broke, the another still work. Everyone could survive on this way. Before someone build a train, have to think about such a case, so it never can happen. A good planner nver should get into such a situation, only those, in whose pocket already a bad plan to justify something what is against every good will.

38:00 Quite honestly, if 1 of the 19 people is someone I particularly care about, it's very possible I would kill 1 innocent person to save the one I love. Though I'm sure I wouldn't be able to live with myself afterwards.

All your argument based on a fallacy, you are assuming that Gd and Abraham were existed, You are presenting an argument between Mosh and Gd where the Gd change his mind , which it’s impossible!! You are bringing proof in morality from a book that we don’t have a clue who wrote it! Are you claiming that Gd wrote the Torah?

Yes. Hashem himself is the author of every word in our holy Torah. It was given to Moshe in public before all of the children of Israel. Every word of our Torah is truth.
