I went to Heaven many years ago.I was just having a little rest on my bed one Saturday afternoon.I was in my late 40's, and if only I can explain what I saw.I saw water that was 'alive'. I felt love so complete, and also 'wisdom' as a (she) and as a huge red ruby...What was the most shocking, was as I started after seeing so much and feeling so much love, that it started to go. The feeling of it leaving me was so terrible!! I cried out 'please don't go'...But it did. Then I asked God to show me 'Hell'! Months later, I now know that because my heart would not be able to live through it....I was shown one part, the Fear!!! was nothing we can experience here on Earth...Took me a long long time, to get over that experience. The fear alone is all consuming. Words can not tell about it, as it go's into every part of your mind and body...I hope anyone reading this: PLEASE seek Jesus. Without seeking Him, you will end in that place. Anyone who will not accept 'what' His death was for, will never enter heaven. It is all about knowing that we are all sinners, and no sin is found in heaven. By asking Jesus to be in your life and help you seek to see what the cross is about. Find a Church, and get right with God, before it really is too late . No one is hopeless, He will forgive and you can find Him.* Only while you are still alive can He be found, once you die there is no hope. You will go to one of the two places...Make yours Heaven, because it will be for ever more. Not for a time, but forever and ever. In other words Eternity, is what you face after death. You will feel everything and more, than you do! even now. I know, I have been there. It is very real, no imagination could have given me the feelings of total Love and understanding. No amount of imagination could have given me the dreadful fear of hell. I plead for you to believe this.

Stop working for money, for the food and drink that perishes! Did Jesus work for money? Did Paul? Did Peter? Did John? No, and for those that had done it, like Peter, they left all and followed Jesus/God. We *need* to do this too. Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." We have to serve God to do His will. We cannot enter Heaven without doing His will. We cannot serve Him and do His will if we also serve mammon, or money. Quit your job if you have one and work for God! Forsake all you have, selling it and giving the money you make from it to the poor! He *commands* us to do this. Our eternal destination depends greatly on this one simple thing!

I agree with Bill Wiese. Today modern churches seem to avoid and side step the reality of Hell. Yet, first and foremost Jesus mission is to primarily to save people from permanent condemnation in Hell. But a lot of preachers seem almost scared to shake the tree and warn people.

First off , i am not questioning his heart , but am skeptical about his experience .....he referenced Pauls vision of heaven ....but forgot to mention that paul was not permited to speak about it, let alone go on a speaking tour or write a book .....John wrote about Hell but it was as an apostle and he was writing scripture . All we need is the scriptures and the Bible says dont go beyond what is written. I dont trust peoples experience because it cant be verified but trust Gods word" Sola Scriptura" .....the canon is closed and we dont need any more...He also says its our decision to reject God and go to hell , but Gods word says we all deserve Hell because we are born in sin and are evil rebelious people but, in Gods Mercy and Grace he chooses his elect to be saved. We are not saved from Hell we are saved from Gods Wrath! When anyone today says God or Jesus told me i get very sceptical unless its through his word and I can read it in the Bible .....be very careful of deception and only use Gods written Word ! He has been on Sid Roths show which has a bunch of false teachers on it and is one Giant infomercial to sell made up stories. I dont believe peoples stories unless it agrees with the word of God and I can tell you Jesus did not talk to him.

I agree. The man preaches JESUS SAVES.. AMEN. Not against him. But.. well when I hear :) a MAN talk about Judgement day and some will be "dragged to hell by demons"..huh? I cant find that. Or the flesh was being torn off. Flesh? Or in hell being tormented by demons? A place made for them not man. So is this story about AFTER the great white throne Judgement? And since when does GOD tip the scales? I thought man has as free choice? So God uses fear? But as Bill says its not fear it love. It a warning. He picks and choose verses. Like sheep and goats. Yet that was about when Christ comes and gathers the NATIONS that were just in the great tribulation. Anyway.. for me it HAS to be written. And then what BILLS version of HELL is the real one because He tosses in bible verses? No what HELL story is the real one? Almost ALL dont match.. same with heaven. People can have false teachings and not be false :)

Mr. Wiese seems so sincere, knows a lot of scripture, and probably believes he was in hell. He says he experienced an "out of body" experience or astral projection. Problems are... he compares his own experience to that of Stephen, Paul, John and others. Really? He quoted God in his conversation with Him - that means those words are as binding as any scripture in the bible no? Mr. Wiese said that Jesus spoke audibly to him calling Himself "I Am" and told him that "many of my people don't believe..." Mr. Wiese said Jesus "needed him" to be a signpost to tell people about hell "to know the seriousness of it." "You just go and tell them" is what Jesus said to Mr. Wiese. So this would mean his experience must be elevated to the level of scripture. He says that demons are the ones doing the tormenting, well that's definitely NEW revelation about hell, as I thought Hell was for the torment of the devil and his demons right? I don't see where demons are doing the tormenting or shoving people back into the pit in my bible -please check my bible knowledge. Mr. Wiese is very explicit on the demons' appearance as well, even sharing "screaming" detailed video on screen behind him. ( It sure creeped me out!) So my question is; Is God's Word not complete enough about hell that we needed Mr. Wiese to write a book, do thousands of interviews and speaking tours? These type stories (heaven/hell tourists move people further from the word of God and elevate mans experiences to the level of God's Word (preachers are doing it everyday in "church"). Remember Heb 1:1-4 In the last days God speaks through His Son...special revelation only comes through Christ in His Written Word. It's complete, 2 tim 3:16. Prov 30: 5-6 Every Word of God is pure...do not add to His Word..., Deut 4:2, Matt 5:18. Heb 13:8 says Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever the quotes from Mr. Wiese don't appear to be at all the same as His Words in the bible. Mr. Wiese has an excellent memory for scripture and has improved over the years with his recall (check out his earlier videos as he's perfected his speech and visual effects) and could do wonderful sermons using ONLY God's WORD to point out what God has already warned us about sin and hell. Pride takes many forms (my words) in this world. Elevating mans experience to the level of God's Word would fit any general definition of pride I think. Self deception, and being deceived by others is something we all need to be careful about...check that out in the most perfect book ever written! In Christs Love, LAB, prayers welcomed and provided.

Great question. No ask.. how can ANY demon be in hell now? NONE are there..not one. Not one fallen angel none. Then ask.. where is it written DEMONS will torment man? Bill Wiese, is a former real estate agent and not a theologian. His book is based upon an event that happened to him while sleeping. It is our point of view that Bill Wiese was sincere in what he wrote. However, we do strongly disagree with him - that he went to hell. What happened to him was a nightmare. And he took that nightmare and made it into a book thinking it would glorify God. Actually the opposite happened many times. Sadly, it turned many people off to God - considering God a monster and not full of mercy, grace, love and justice at all like the Bible says He is. Yes, God will judge sin one day. We are not saying He won’t, but we are asking you to consider the actual Biblical position here - not theology based upon deceiving visions and unrealistic dreams. (Problem 1) It was 3:00 AM one night in 1998 and Mr. Wiese says he was sleeping when this all started. What does that tell you to begin with? Are we to base theology on mystified dreams? (Problem 2) Mr.Wiese claims that he left his body and went to hell. But then how does he explain the fact that when he woke up - he was in another part of the house? If he actually left his body like he claims, then who moved his body from the bed to where he woke up on the living room floor? If he left his body like he claims - then another entity came inside the body while he was gone and moved the body while he was gone from it. That is NOT practical. We have no evidence in the Bible of a body being moved while a person was gone from it. However, if he did not actually leave his body, but had a bad dream instead, that explains perfectly how he woke up somewhere else…He never left his body. (Problem 3) How About Bill saying that he was thrown around by a demon and he could hear his bones breaking, yet when he came back into his body, there were no broken bones on him. He said a demon tore open his chest, yet once again, when he came back into his body, his chest was not ripped open. Yes, Bill Wiese is sincere. That was never an issue. However, sincerity does not mean truth. Mr. Wiese’s use of biblical words is just plain wrong. For example: Why doesn't Mr. Wiese ever mention the Geek word "Gehenna" of which Jesus spoke in the gospels as the place of everlasting punishment, and Jesus never used the word "hell" whatsoever? The Hebrew word “Sheol” he interprets to mean “a temporary hell” when scripture depicts this word as the grave. However, even most of the Bible translations (including the KJV) do not even translate “Sheol” as hell in 18 of the first 20 times it is used. How does he explain that? Look at Psalm 49:14 “Like sheep they are laid in the grave;” (the Hebrew there is Sheol) - so sheep are in hell? And yet Mr. Wiese calls Sheol a temporary hell. So are sheep in hell too since they are clearly in Sheol according to Psalm 49:14. (Problem 4) Here is 100% proof he is wrong. Bill Wiese talks about the screams he heard. Yet the Bible says 100% the opposite. “let them (wicked people) be silent in the grave (Hebrew - Sheol). Psalm 31:17. So based on this evidence alone, we have a clear contradiction between Bill Wiese and the Word of God! We repeat - based on this evidence alone, we have a clear contradiction between Bill Wiese and the Word of God. Sheol is silent according to God’s Word. Bill Wiese says the opposite happened in his dream. (Problem 5) Jonah was not in or near “hell” as Bill Wiese states. Yes, the Hebrew text of Jonah says, “Sheol” But Sheol, in the book of Jonah, is a poetic way of saying a watery grave…Sheol … is probably a poetic usage for “the depths,”” Believer’s Bible commentary - Page 1128 (ed. William MacDonald endorsed by Dr. John MacArthur, Warren Wiersbe) Yet - Bill Wiese does this ALL throughout his book! Look at this verse which he misquotes in an interview: Also in “the earth with her bars was about me for ever….” (Jonah 2:6) He again uses this as proof that Jonah went to hell and there are chambers with bars in hell. Now let’s see the whole verse in context starting with verse 5, “The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with there bars was about me for ever:“ This is a person sinking, sinking, sinking in water! Look at how Jonah writes about the weeds, the bottom of the mountains, etc. It is a picture of him really considering dying under water with no escape! Yet Bill Wiese misquotes many scriptures like this in the Old Testament that have nothing to do with hell, yet he quotes them in his book as “proof” of his point of view. Sadly, those who do not know the Bible will easily be taken in by him. Read some of those scriptures he quotes in context and you will see what a poor job he does! He sadly leads many astray believing God is an angry MONSTER worse than Hitler! Now the truth! (Truth 1) Do not think after reading all that that we are denying the reality of God’s judgment. The truth is, it is a scary thing to fall into the judicial hands of God. However, the Bible teaches that the soul is not immortal. That immortality is “conditional” upon receiving the gospel. The Bible teaches what is called “Conditional Immortality”. And a growing number of evangelicals hold to this view. Yes, he does address this position in his book, but he does a poor job not even mentioning half the scriptures that are brought up on the web sites listed above! Why? Because they would disprove his false doctrine of God as an eternal torturer. (Truth 2) Bill Wiese teaches the opposite of what Jesus Christ teaches. Bill Wiese teaches that the souls of the lost will live forever. Jesus Christ teaches that the souls of the lost will be “destroyed” in hell one day. “…but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28) It is as plain as day - Jesus teaches the fate of the lost as destruction of life (soul) - not eternal torment. Do you trust Jesus Christ to teach the truth or Bill Wiese? (Truth 3) A growing number of well-known Christian leaders, such as Dr. David R. Reagan, John R. Stott, Greg Boyd, Roger Forster (co-founder of the March for Jesus events), Philip Hughes, Michael Green, Stephen Travis, and Clark Pinnock have declared support for part, or all, of the biblical doctrine of conditional immortality. Even the British Bible translator, William Tyndale, also defended Conditional Immortality during his lifetime. Even the very well respected scholar F.F. Bruce states, “Eternal conscious torment is incompatible with the revealed character of God” so he chose to write the forward to an excellent evangelical book on this topic called, “The Fire that Consumes” by Edward Fudge. (Destroy, Perish, etc.) The Bible says clearly God will eventually destroy the lost (Matthew 10:28, Philippians 3:19, James 4:12), at the end of the age (Revelation 20:14-15). The second death means they no longer live after that. Sadly, Bill Wiese in 23 minutes in hell does not teach what the bible says about this and COMPLETELY AVOIDS the scriptures on immortality being only for believers (2 Timothy 1:10, Romans 2:7, John 6:51, etc). I challenge you to look up the scriptures and see if it does not at least give you something to think about. (Truth 5) God will destroy the wicked, not keep them alive forever. They will “perish” not live forever. In John 3:16, what does “perish” mean? The Greek word for “perish” in John 3:16 (apollymi) is the same Greek word used for “destroy” (apollymi) in Matthew 10:28. (Feel free to get out your Strong’s concordance and look it up.) Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to “destroy” both soul and body in hell.” The lost will “perish” in hell, not be preserved like Bill Wiese teaches. This concludes our review. Please Google "Conditional Immortality" and see what the Bible teaches. The lost are not immortal. Mr.Wiese completely misses this biblical point. And please see the links at the top. Evangelicals who hold to this position of "Conditional Immortality" have it correct. Mr. Wiese does not.

I am not going to point out all the contradictions in his story in this short article. I’ll just point out that the minute he tried to go into the Bible to substantiate his story, he ran into problems which apparently he couldn’t see because he doesn’t know his scriptures very well. He begins his narrative with: "I wanted to find out when I got back from this experience, if there's anybody in the Bible who has ever experienced Hell. So I began research. I listen to Chuck Missler a lot. He's a Bible teacher across the nation, a real scholar and he had said that Jonah had experienced Hell. In Jonah 2:2 it says, "in Hell he cried out." And in Jonah 2:6 it says, "the earth with her bars was about me forever, yet thou has brought up my life from corruption." So at least there was somebody in the Bible that experienced Hell, Jonah." But most leading English Bible translations no longer have Jonah in Hell, they have him in Sheol, that is, the place of the dead in which everyone in the Old Testament goes, whether good or bad. Apparently, Bill Wiese, because he does not compare Bible translations, is unaware of the fact that the King James Bible mistranslated a whole host of words that have been corrected by newer translations such as the New International Version and the New American Standard Version. There is another word in the verse Bill Wiese selected to prove he went to Hell which is also mistranslated in the King James Bible - the word "forever." The Hebrew word behind the King James English is "olam." Literally, it means an indeterminate amount of time, time to obscurity, to the horizon. Olam, is a time word. It does not mean "forever." Jonah was in the fish, in the belly of the earth for three days and nights. But from Jonah’s point of view, not having the sun for a reference point, he was in the belly of the earth for an "olam," an indeterminate amount of time. Jonah didn’t know exactly how long he was in the fish because he couldn’t see the sun. That’s why the Hebrew "olam" was used to signify his duration. The root for olam stems from "hidden or obscure." An olam could be as short as three days and nights or even shorter. It could be as long as a man’s life or the length of a covenant, etc. It is obvious from other texts that Jonah was not there "forever" as the King James has him. Young’s Literal Translation, one of the most literal translations available says, "The earth, her bars are behind me to the age. And Thou bringest up from the pit my life, O Jehovah my God." The Concordant Literal Translation reads, "The earth, its bars are about me for the eon, Yet You shall bring up my life from ruin, O Yahweh, my Elohim." Rotherham’s Emphasized Bible has, "As for the earth her bars were bout me age-abidingly, -- Then didst thou bring up out of the pit my life, O Yahweh my God." All three of these versions as well as others translated the Hebrew word "olam" with some English word indicated time, not eternity. Jonah escaped his prison. Obviously, he was not there "forever." What ever Bill Wiese experienced, it, too, was not forever. So if Hell is a place from which there is no escape forever Bill wasn’t there, nor was Jonah. The King James Bible mistranslated many important words, many of which have been corrected in newer translations, but not all of them. It is most unfortunate, most Christians are really not taught to compare Bible translations. There really are major doctrinal differences between major translations. If Hell is a place where one experiences "everlasting punishment" one cannot come and go from such a place. The Bible correctly translated knows of no such place. Today, most leading Bible translations do not contain the English word Hell in the entire Old Testament, including the verse Bill Wiese and his scholar Chuck Missler hinge their false belief on. It is most unfortunate that people who have been Christians for many years do not even know there are scores of Bible translations which do not contain the English word Hell from cover to cover. A few examples are: Young’s Literal Translation, Rotherham’s Emphasized Bible, Concordant Literal N. T., Weymouth’s N.T., Twentieth Century N.T., Jonathan Mitchell New Testament, Tree of Life Version as well as many others. In addition to "olam" being mistranslated as "forever, the Hebrew word "sheol" should never have been translated as "Hell." If you don’t believe me, look into the leading English Bible translations such as the NIV, NRSV, NASB and many others -none of them translate "sheol" as "hell" anymore. Present day scholars now admit the King James translators were incorrect in rendering "sheol" as "hell." Sheol simply means the place of the dead, same as Hades in the New Testament. In the Hebrew text of the Bible, everyone, good and bad all go to the "place of the dead," that is, "sheol." The King James Bible unfortunately translated Sheol 31 times "grave," 31 times "Hell," and three times "pit." The Hebrew "Sheol" is the equivalent to "Hades" in the New Testament. Unfortunately, some of the pagan ideas of the underworld from Greek mythology became attached to this word because the Septuagint (Ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures) chose to use the Greek word Hades for the equivalent to Sheol. The Greek word Hades had all kinds of pagan unbiblical ideas which were quite foreign to the meaning of the word Sheol. Some of this pagan understanding associated with the word Hades ultimately crept into Christian thought in some circles. Many Jews in Jesus’ day were Hellenists, that is, they spoke Greek, not Hebrew or Aramaic. These pagan concepts of Hades are some of those traditions Jesus warned about that "make the word of God of no effect." (Matt. 15:6-9)

Not many times have I under stood "wall of text" lol.. playing.. Preaching Jesus is the only way.. amen. I never took the time to read hear the whole story. What always got me was..the demons stuff..flesh.. well he came out with a new video not long ago about Judgement where in it he said after that demons will "drag you to hell". HUH? I cant find that. Nor can I find demons tormenting man in hell. A place for them. And.. then its not some house or where they hang out. And as far as I know not ONE is even there YET. In all honesty, Bill Wiese is a fraud and a hoax. He may have experienced something, but it is not from Almighty God. For one thing, the bible teaches us that God will administer His punishments and judgments alone and he will do it in love and He will not designate it to no one else but Him and His Sonalone. The bible tells us that no demon will ever torment mankind in the afterlife. Jesus cast out demons in His time on earth and they were afraid of Him because He had the power and authority over them. Demons are spiritual beings, fallen angels that disobeyed God and could take possession of a human body. They are not reptilian in nature and are not 15 feet tall! Bill Wiese tells you he was taken out of his body by God, he was a spiritual entity when experiencing his delusion in hell, and then he tells you reptilian creatures were slamming him around, breaking bones and tearing at his body, removing flesh with no blood appearing. Once again, he is a spiritual body so he should have no bones to be broken or flesh to be torn from his body. This is a deception from the core of his comments. Second, he has trouble breathing in hell as he can barely take a breath, but if he has no blood in his body to take in the oxygen into his lungs to take to other portions of his body like the brain and such, what would be the purpose for breathing if you have no blood to carry this oxygen to proper places? Totally false in his teaching! He tells you that there is no life in hell, yet people are alive being tortured by flames, and demons are alive in hell. Total contradiction! He tells you that you will be in hell right shortly after you die, but if this be the case, hell is the eternal place of torment and no one comes back from hell. With this, he has canceled out the time of Christ's return, the resurrection of all mankind and the time of judgment. The resurrection and judgment must take place before you enter into your eternal destination, and Bill Wiese has cancelled this out completely! Totally unscriptural!! He tells you that maggots are present all over in hell, but maggots are larvae that live off of dead flesh, not living, burning and torturing bodies. He tells you snakes are present in hell, but the heat from what he describes in hell a snake can not survive and live in that much heat. That is a deception! He is so false in all his comments, and he takes scripture out of context to establish he is right! He is no well trained minister of the gospel or well-taught theologian , and he has no authority biblically as to be such an authoritarian about hell and the afterlife. And he is making a lot of money out of his best selling book! In 1917, three children from Fatima, Portugal had a vision of the Virgin Mary and she showed them a vision of hell. Her answer to these children was to tell the world to say Rosaries, go to the Catholic Mass and pay homage to the Virgin Mary otherwise you will all end up in hell. Such things from anybody who claims a vision or message about the afterlife, and heaven or hell is not of God and not of the Bible. The bible speaks enough on this subject and that is all you need to know! Not someone who has mislead you by some out-of-body experience that In fact, the bible speaks against. I will also add this for you as you mentioned that Hell is some kind of garbage dump outside of Jerusalem in Christ's day. For one thing, the bible was originally in Hebrew, Aramaic (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament). Words concerning an afterlife was the Hebrew Sheol and the Greek Hades, Gehenna and Tartarus. Sheol was a mysterious place that usually just meant the grave or death, sometimes some mysterious willowy unknown place but all people either good or bad went there after death to wait for the resurrection. Hades, (Greek) in the New Testament means the same thing as Sheol. Gehenna was a garbage dump outside of Jerusalem coming from the "Valley of Hinnom." Jesus spoke this Greek word in reference to punishment, but he never spoke the word Hell as this word is not from Greek, Aramaic or Hebrew.....Hell came into the bible during the medieval ages and it originated from Nordic-Germanic paganism. Anything that entered into the fire of Gehenna was consumed by fire and burned up. Tartarus was a place like a prison where demons are kept until the time of the resurrection and judgment, and then these demons go to the Lake of Fire in Revelation.

Bill Wiese has been traveling around the world, selling millions of books, and making LOTS of money by exploiting people's fear of the unknown, claiming that in 1998 he spent 23 minutes in Hell. Bill Wiese is a lying religious con man! Wiese's claims of enormous sized demons with giant jaws and huge teeth with claws sticking out simply aren't taught in the Word of God. Making exaggerated claims concerning Hell only leads people to doubt and mock the Word of God. As Christians, we should protect the integrity of the Bible by never allowing anyone to twist or exaggerate It's teachings. We ought to be silent where the Scriptures are silent. We don't need to ADD to the Word of God. Bill Wiese is ADDING to the Scriptures. Although this may seem harmlessly beneficial to some Christians, such bizarre claims are damaging to the truth. The testimony of the rich man burning in Hell in Luke 16 doesn't mention demonic monsters with fangs and sunken-in eyes. In fact, nothing is mentioned in the Scriptures about monsters in Hell.

From biblical points of view, Almighty God always punishes liken to a father disciplining a child to get a results usually always leading to repentance and restoration. And His punishment once it accomplishes, the purpose that God desires...the punishment will end. If He did not get a repentance, He just put them to death (the flood, Sodom & Gomorrah) and will deal with this at the time of resurrection and judgment. Hell, according to Bill Wiese and many like him is not a punishing to get a results....it is shear torture and torment, pain and suffering forever from a very angry and vengeful God....Not a God of love whatsoever! God always wants a results from punishing and throughout the bible, this is how God works with His creation, that He punishes through love more than anything. What is the results God is going to achieve by mercilessly torturing a larger portion of His creations for all eternity? If majority of people are going to hell forever, why doesn't He stop this age we live in now, let Christ come back, stop the insanity, and bring in the resurrection and close this age. And Bill Wiese never talks or speaks about the time of the blessed resurrection and judgments....but he is all about hell - and the resurrection is the hope of eternal life which is the foundation of the Christian faith. God does things for His purpose of fulfillment, joy and restoration.....So, how God will find fulfillment, joy and restoration by tormenting and torturing a majority of mankind forever? That is totally against His character of love, mercy, grace and justice. What happened to the scripture..."Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more." It is only Satan that would love to send a majority of God's creation, mankind to be tortured and tormented for all eternity because he hates God and his creation. To tell people to repent or you will spend eternity tortured in hell is a way of coercion out of fear and not of for the love of God. As the one man in this video made known, God is not the God of fear!!!

We have scripture teaching us about the death and the regions of death and Gods punishment for mankind and that s all we need. I do believe God does punish and He has punished throughout the bible. God when punishing mankind, does this to turn mankind back to Him.....But to torment forever is truly against God character of love, mercy and grace. I believe Bill Wiese and his book is from demons and not from God. In time, He will be challenged by his experience and be questioned on many issues about God, the scriptures and his experience of hell. He will start to become an expert and a no-it-all to defend his position and some will start believing him so much they will be looking at him as a prophet of some kind. His testimony does not line up with scripture. To defend his position, he is taking scripture out of context as I have listened to him and he is also contradictory. I can show you many scriptures both in the Old And New Testament that mentions the wicked and evil will be done away with, put out of existence will perish and be destroyed. Read Luke 3:17; where the wicked will burn up like chaff....chaff does not burn forever! Luke 13:2-5; if you do not repent, you perish. Matthew 7:13; where wide is the gate for the evil ones that leads to destruction. Matthew 10:28 destroy both body & soul in the Gehenna fire (Jesus never spoke the word hell, He spoke and called it Gehenna and anything that entered into Gehenna was consumed and burned up). Romans 2:12; all who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law. Philippians 3:19; The destiny for the wicked and evil are destruction. Hebrews 6:2; disobedience leads to death. Romans 6:23; the wages of sin is death. Psalms 21:9; and the fire will consume the wicked. Psalms 37:20; the wicked will perish and they will vanish like smoke. Psalms 37:38; but all sinners will be destroyed. Malachi 4:1; All evildoers will be set afire and burned to stubble. Rev. 20:14; the Lake of Fire is a death (second death). 2 Peter 3:7; the day of judgment will bring the destruction of ungodly men. In the book of Jude, Sodom & Gomorrah serve as an example of those being wicked were punished and destroyed by an eternal fire. if the fire that destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah was an eternal fire of punishment, why aren't Sodom and Gomorrah burning to this day? Because according to the original language of Scripture (Greek), it meant that the punishment, not the punishing will be eternal in its effect. That Sodom & Gomorrah will never, ever be again and to this day, there is no cities of Sodom & Gomorrah. It is everlasting in its effect and never will be again, they are gone, obviated, consumed and destroyed forever! Yes, the bible does mentions about an eternal or everlasting punishment, not punishing....But the bibles also mentions many times over in other areas that the sinful, wicked and evildoers will perish, be destroyed, consumed and exist no more. What is it you don't get about the words destroy, perish, consumed and put to an eternal death? You have to read the whole bible in it's entirety before you settle on only a few verses that explains something. The bible does not say their torment as ends up forever and ever. In Rev. 10:9-10..."But fire came down from heaven and devoured them (get it, devoured them). And the Devil who deceived them, was thrown into the Lake of Burning Sulfur where the Beast and False Prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night, forever and ever." Guess what? There is no day and night in eternity! All this scripture means by applying day and night is an earthly way of saying it is a long time. Forever and ever in the original Greek language as aion or aions meaning in English an "age" of "ages." It is not forever! Here is some verses taken from scripture how God punishes with fire........Isa. 4:4; When the Lord has washed the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning.Isa. 31:9; ….Says the Lord, whose fire is in Zion and whose furnace is in Jerusalem. Bill Wiese is an evangelical, protestant, church member and is speaking very close to his traditions of the Pentecostal, evangelical upbringing within his experience. I would assume that if Bill experienced this as a Roman Catholic traditions he would probably come back telling many that Purgatory is real and that praying to the Virgin Mary is of God. If he were Hindu, he would probably tell you he seen Hare Krishna. If he were Buddhist, he might come back and speak about seeing Buddha. Jesus never said the European word hell, He called it the Greek word Gehenna.
