Shana Tova Mary, right you are. Indeed there is a complete pattern, composed of 3 main patterns as follows: Tekiyah, Shevarim and Terouah. Danny Stern blows it quite well distinguishable one frome the others. 😊

During this recording there is constantly what sounds like interference between the microphone and a simple mobile phone, causing annoying buzzing sounds.

So if my sister wants/expects shofar to be blown on Rosh Hashanah because she believes that Hashem will take her terminal cancer away. It grieves me that she has to wait to be healed. So she will hear it 😊

No, two 24 hour days. The Torah says one day, but because, before the fixed calendar, we can't be totally sure when the 1st day of Tishrei will be, we observe two days -- per what the Rabbi said.
