Great content! God's power of LOVE means that HE gave the first man and woman Free will YET had already planned their salvation and the restoration of the entire world when they failed to obey His commandment. He prepared the chosen people to receive the Messiah 2000 yrs ago and when the main jewish leaders failed to accept Yeshua, Yeshua promised he will return. God's grace and LOVE is patient and eternal. Yeshua's return is imminent and God's glory is beyond our human intelligence and our faith in Him must be absolute

Something came into my mind when you were talking about Moses staff that turned into a snake eating the other snakes. A snake that eats other snakes is the king snake. That could also be symbolic.

I always wondered about the snake on the pole for decades. Only now I’m thinking that it was sin that Jesus put on the cross. He became sin for us. He took our sins and put it on the cross. Thats the bronze snake on the pole, our sin, Jesus took away and now we can come to Him freely, without shame.

The problem is that in the Bible, when Moses cast his staff on the ground, it doesn’t turn into a serpent but into the Leviathan ( Tannyin) The term is not the same as the staff of pharaoh. Help me here!

This thing about a "holy" Serpent brings up more questions. Raised Catholic, my understanding is "serpent" from the Garden of Eden story represents "cunning" & temptation, the Tree of Knowledge. So serpent kinda gets a bad rap. Represents the negative side. Kabbalistically, my understanding is Moses used the serpent to represent a way to relate to the ppl, since their consciousness needed more elevation, as they emerged from the 49th gate of negativity (out of 50 gates) Moses meets them where they are, to build faith & raise consciousness in God the Father. Its like a form of missionary activity. Meet ppl where they are at, to elevate or introduce a new form of faith and divinity on earth. Going up the ladder to redeem the ppl. I'm personally flummoxed by Hinduism's reference of snakes (& they claim as being one w ancient Egyptian practices) Guru's make claims that their practice is "occult" or "shortcuts" w which (my understanding) in the hands of the "wrong" consciousness could prove receive for self alone. So is it all about consciousness, with multiple paths to attain divinity on earth? Jesus healed ppl. In a way, its a "shortcut" too. Makes one question is the "residue" or "memory" of our nature (inner opponent) washed clean ? I want to believe so. Is the vessel ready for the divine healing of Jesus (or guru)? Did we merit it ? Did the vessel learn the lessons to hold this correctly to move forward? Are we enough? 😉 As we ascend thru Ascension consciousness for all ppls. One of my questions is: is the Hindu "practice" clean (like Judao-Christian) or is it all about your consciousness at the end of the day? (ie: choice to utilize the energy to "receive for the self alone" or "for sake of sharing".) I do believe God reaches out to all peoples in mysterious ways. And there are multiple paths. Their practice of going into chakras and bringing the divine light within is very fulfilling. They also have the gifts of ayurvedic food and natural medicines that improve the quality of life for humanity. Yet, I also see a direct polarization between peoples there - the rich & the dirt squalid poor. Isn't it about the Judao-Christian consciousness of being "in action" to change the world and help the less fortunate too in our cultures and world? Kabbaliatically I understand as "receiving for the self alone" (tree of knowledge) vs receive for the sake of sharing (messiah consciousness & Tree of Life). While this lecture is very inspiring - it beings up more questions (for me) as how to categorize the Hindu practices - are they clean or a direct polarization of our Judao-Christian path or methodology? Or is it simply about each of our consciousness at the end of the day? I remain open to learn the truths.. Thanks for opening up the ancient mysticism around this teaching of Messiah. Catholicism teaches that Jesus & "the cross" (+ marks the spot) defeats the snake & so does his Mother (divine feminine & spouse of the Holy Spirit - the Shechinah - and the coming out of exile). Rabbi - please continue w your thoughts and teachings. So much comes up...

An interesting point in these verses is the words in Hebrew. First, it says that Yehovah sends the nachashim the seraphim (הַנְּחָשִׁים הַשְּׂרָפִים) among Israelites and people died. and the Israelites asked Moshe to remove the nachash (הַנָּחָשׁ) among them. Then יהוה said to take a pole and make a seraph (שָׂרָף) at the end of it and lif it to everyone to see, so they will be saved. Then Moshe made the nachash (הַנָּחָשׁ) at the pole and lifted it up. 4Moos. 21:6-9 וַיְשַׁלַּח יְהוָה בָּעָם אֵת הַנְּחָשִׁים הַשְּׂרָפִים וַֽיְנַשְּׁכוּ אֶת־הָעָם וַיָּמָת עַם־רָב מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ וַיָּבֹא הָעָם אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וַיֹּאמְרוּ חָטָאנוּ כִּֽי־דִבַּרְנוּ בַֽיהוָה וָבָךְ הִתְפַּלֵּל אֶל־יְהוָה וְיָסֵר מֵעָלֵינוּ אֶת־הַנָּחָשׁ וַיִּתְפַּלֵּל מֹשֶׁה בְּעַד הָעָֽם׃ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עֲשֵׂה לְךָ שָׂרָף וְשִׂים אֹתֹו עַל־נֵס וְהָיָה כָּל־הַנָּשׁוּךְ וְרָאָה אֹתֹו וָחָֽי׃ וַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה נְחַשׁ נְחֹשֶׁת וַיְשִׂמֵהוּ עַל־הַנֵּס וְהָיָה אִם־נָשַׁךְ הַנָּחָשׁ אֶת־אִישׁ וְהִבִּיט אֶל־נְחַשׁ הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וָחָֽי׃ You can look this שׂרף To burn, blaze, fire » cover with resin » absorb, consume, devour » quaff, sip, suck, swallow, drink in (Some wordbooks says also Saraph - one form angel) נחש To guess, conjecture, surmise » divine, prophesize, practice sorcery/divination, conjure, observe omens » twist like a snake According Isaiah 6 Seraphim Jes. 6:2 Above it stood seraphim (שְׂרָפִים). Each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. I thought that they were not real snakes, but rather demonic begins that were in snake form, because Seraphim word?
