ברוך דיין אמת. I was in the choir in the early 70s. We where recording a record and I felt my voice breaking. I went to tell Yigal that I was resigning since I couldn't sing. He wouldn't hear it. He insisted I take part in the record. Till tjis today I'm proud to have been part of the historic choir.

Brings me squarely back to the ‘80s- As a young child in my grandparents home sitting mesmerized in front of the green glowing dials on their record player- smelling the smell of the record, hearing the burst of beautiful harmonized music. Thank you for the beautiful memories- I cried all the way through.

I sang with the Miami Choir Boys in the 70's and always had the greatest admiration for the great Reb Yigal. All these years later I still can't get enough. His compositions were/are simply masterful.

It is early on November 7th in Michigan. I'm watching the master choir director enjoying his adult choir boys reliving their mutual pleasant memories. Opened up youtube for something else (don't even remember why) and I stumbled upon this. It was absolutely outstanding. I still remember when Yigal and his boys were practising in my late grandmother's house.......a very very long time ago...... Thank you for this treat.

Thank you for posting ..I was the youngest member of the London Pirchim Choir at the time which I was honoured to join at the age of five (around 1970)....I went on to have a successful career as a stage and screen actor..Now over fifty years later I remember all the lyrics (even if I still don't understand them) and haunting melodies as though it were yesterday...Thank you Yigal!

Forgive me for waxing nostalgic to the maximum, but has any thought been given to these adults producing a new cd with these original Yigal choir singers reviving the old classics together with their own children in a capella? The adult harmony on this video is absolutely beautiful and brings me to tears! Yeyasher Kochachem, and may HKBH grant Reb Yigal additional Arichas Yomim in good health!

I don't know how old Yigal is but if you were able to pull these incredible reunions off once a month you'd definitely keep him going 120 years strong. I grew up with these songs & my father A'H was involved with producing the first pirchei records in NY. Yigals London school of Jewish song recordings are legendary. "what can I say"
