Yes Lord. Yeshua, I pray, I speak forgiveness over my tongue and mouth for past things I spoke from a place of fear OR when I was trying to defend/standup for/ speak my truth and probably did not use gentle kind language. Forgiveness sought for my ‘Aussieness’ , we have slang and speaking that we understand, all done in jester humourpus loving ways, but of which may also be interpreted as not good. For example, men call women ‘Sheila’ or to go travel ‘walkabout’ Our words are very sacred. That being said we have our own vocabularies, and need awareness and sensitivity to another’s language. Amen thank you, bless you brother.

We are all guilty of doing these things. We are human and we still are of the flesh, we continually need to be crucifying the flesh daily. We need to be open to guidance and discipline in how we use our words. Our words should be edifying to the Body of Christ.We need to be walking in the Spirit, being yoked and abiding in the Lord God. To daily ask for help in how we use our mouth and voice each day. Amen that we have a mouth to use.

How was Paul able to talk about what people did to him that was bad and that God would repay them. He said to mark them and to withdraw from people like that. He even called people foolish and asked who bewitched them. He even said turn them over to Satan for the destruction of their flesh. He even said bad things would happen if you desire to be godly and to endure hardships as a good soldier. I could go on and on.. it's called constructive criticism so it will bring them from being babies to mature Christians that bare good works. It's like a good coach the must teach what's right to do but also prune the bad that will kill off the branch if not dealt with quickly. It may feel negative but it is highly necessary for good success.

Praise King Jesus😊 Another on time Word 😃 I’ll add as a side note: I know from personal experience if someone is ALWAYS talking a lot it *can potentially be* a symptom of isolation and not feeling heard and that might be their only outlet. Generally speaking people who regularly socialize and feel heard *on the whole* don’t tend to act that way. It has to be taken on a case by case basis but my case, about a year ago that was the primary issue. It is much less of a problem now. It doesn’t at all excuse the behavior, but the source can be addressed.

@josedopwell9645
@josedopwell9645 4 жыл бұрын
God has given me a spirit of power, love and SELF-CONTROL (2 Timothy 1:7, Galatians 5:22-26). Just because someone else won't speak doesn't mean l have to fill the air with empty words. That is one of the 4 major points of this bible study. Perhaps the ones who aren't speaking are practicing self-control with their tongues. It's not my business to judge what's going on with them. But I am required to judge myself truly (2 Corinthians 13:5, 1 Corinthians 11:31). If the Holy Spirit has given me something meaningful to say and it's an appropriate time to do so THEN I'll speak. There's a time and place for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). Proverbs 17:28: "Even a fool is thought wise IF HE KEEPS SILENT, and discerning IF HE HOLDS HIS TONGUE."

I've done the exact same thing; and was immediately convicted. The problem was that I was attempting to control my tongue with my own strength instead of seeking the help of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 141:3 and Philippians 4:13 are two scriptures that the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart. Please do condemn yourself when you make a mistake with your words. Ask forgiveness! He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us! Thank you Jesus. Walk in His Strength and Ability! You know, I'm encouraging myself! God bless you!!

I need this brother...I confess to our Lord and to you my brethren that i have sinned in all of these ways with my words...I know it's sin but hear Rabbi SAY it proves the very power of words he's speaking about...his powerful words are Truth about my powerful negative words...I am taking this to heart practicing not to sin with my words...this is serious...thank you truly🙏💎

Excellent teaching Rabbi. When I learned about Lashon Hara, I know that I had to change. Some time ago, I was reading an article where a local community was sad about the passing of an older gentleman, who’s habit was to tell stories to children in the local library. Now this statement caught my eye.....Everyone loved to hear him, because, ..... “He spoke in carefully crafted sentences.” When I read that I asked, “who talks like that? Only Jesus!” We should do the same. Lord help us to be the salt of the earth, by the words of our mouths, speaking in carefully crafted sentences, designed to build up, Ep. 4:29.

Jeremiah 17 verse 9 is a fabulous scripture. A Jew today told me that people are basically good. I nearly keeled over in my hospital bed. I'm very positive, yet very outspoken. I prize myself on not taking guff. For years as a child my mother would tell me not to be pushy. I seen her hold in her feelings y cry. I've seen a lot y I'm not interested in bowing down to Satan to say pretty words to appease him. I did not experience my life's walk not to learn. Again, I'd love to learn the Bible in it's original Hebrew y Greek contents. I read all these soft y loving comments y am touched y yes they say Christ's sheep go daily to the slaughter. God is my best friend, as people will disappoint on a dime. Would you consider teaching in English y Hebrew the old testament. Y Greek for the New testament. I'm starting to wonder if translations are mixing up messages as I see large differences when I read in other languages as means of comparison. Just think how many people have died because they misunderstood the Bible text. I was almost a statistic. Act now, for each day counts.----leonardo DiCaprio's character jack in the Titanic had a valid point.👍👈
