Rabbit FREAKS OUT over banana machine

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." - Pipkin, and some other famous person, probably This video was supposed to be about surprising Pigpoke with a glorious banana! We were curious how close the banana platform would get before Pigpoke charged over to it, tore the banana down, and attacked it voraciously. Much to our surprise (and dismay!), we scared the poor wee bun instead. But, with a little coaxing, he recovered quickly, and enjoyed his treat! Thanks so much for watching! We had trouble with the title of this video - do you have any better suggestions? :D

My all time favorite part is when he goes face to nose with the camera! SQUEEEEEEEE! Last night I found some dust and tiny crunchies left over from Oreo's Oxbow's cookies. (There's usually some, as we cut them in pea sized chunks, because, well, he's a chunk! But this time there were more! As you know a kiss from Oreo is as rare as hen's teeth. So I put some of the cookie dust, which he adores, into the palm of my hand, and offered it to him. After a bit of hesitation, he went for it! Mommy was in her glory, getting bunny kisses, even if bribed with cookie dust! I sat perfectly still, and we had super bonding time! Cookie dust will be happening again! I love how every bunny we've had has given different types of kisses. And our Rex Nutmeg would nip her own fur, (PTSD from street life the vet said!) So we could also count on eyebrows, eyelashes, or hair getting nipped off during a grooming session! Pigpoke! You did one AWESOME JOB on that nanner!!!! You are now the current nanner king, the reigning champ of nanner chomping! (Tell Daddy to Google the *Nom Nom* song and play it for you as you get your applause and gold prize! 🥇)

My Bun zooms like that too when I accidentally "scare" him by being two feet away from him and taking a step to the right or left; or walking past the doorway to the kitchen (his turf, to be fair- his food, litter box, & absurdly large cardboard tube are in there) silently on carpeted floor. Whenever I startle him his reaction is always a loud, klutzy kerfuffle with his nails clamoring on the linoleum like he's a cartoon character.

From the beginning he was giving you the stink eye. I was already laughing from that point on. His one ear was trained on you. He knew u were up to something. When he saw that c3Po thing coming to attack him with a banana gun, he bolted Zoom Zoom the heck outta there. I felt soo bad for him but was laughing like crazy. That acceleration puts a Buggati to shame. And I loved how after just a few seconds, he realized that he should be eating the inner fruit and not the peel. Soo adorable. 💕💕💕

I am so glad you took in poor little Pigpoke, because you are so kind and patient with him. He is still a little nervous, after his horrible start in life, which is understandable but you have done wonders with him. He really needed to go to a good home. It is early days, he is still learning to trust and in time he will become far less jumpy and scared. He is a beautiful rabbit with sparkling eyes and the camera loves him. I love seeing his little mouth chewing it is so cute, it looks like he is smiling as he eats. He is a little star, who never had much love before you both gave him a home not like dear Angel Pipkin Pipkin, the Angel lead you to Pigpoke is watching and is always with you all.

When he saw the GIGANTIC WHEELY THING COMING... INSTINCTS KICKED IN, GET OUTTA THERE AND FIND COVER!!! But, he smelled daddy's hand and all was safe. Then... the BANANA! YUM-MY! The skin, not too much tho. He didn't get much treat this time, but loved the close up A LOT AND THE FAST GET AWAY! I SAID, "YE-HEWW!" When he took off! He's pretty fast! A bun ran in front of my car last night! Had not seen one in years! I opened my window and yelled, "Honey, don't do that, I almost ran over you!" I'm sure the car behind me thought I was nuts!
