Holy shit, now I completely understand why there were so many OG ravers in the chat waiting for this set. I can't believe I've been raving 10 years and never knew about these guys, that had to be the best rave a thon performance yet, the showmanship is incredible! And that last song is especially incredible. These guys deserve so much more recognition, I REALLY hope we get to see them at EDC or Nocturnal!!!

I was lucky enough to see RITM late 90's early 2000's (big time fan), this was around the time that FL breaks was in full swing in the South. Ill always remember when they first played the DMC, the Decibel, etc., (both closed now), we lost our minds! Amazing performances! That FL sound is sooooo unique. This was during and after the time that DJ Monk was with RITM. Texas saw a lot of RITM, DJ Monk, Jackal & Hyde, Baby Anne, DJ Icey, etc., thanks for bringing FL talent to the South, left an impression on a lot of us!

Circa 1997-98, my vg friend absolutely "raved on and on" about this group. And I mean literally! He probably saw them like 4-5 times before me all the while never shutting up about the performance etc, etc. ad nauseam!! He got the rabbit tattoo, the one that looks Aztec-like (a rabbit glyph enclosed in circular boarder). We finally went to the same party where RITM were headlining. I gotta say, the music wasn't the absolute best for dancing etc; at times the breaks were unconventional. However, I totally got it; the whole package. They were made for finishing or closing out clubs. RITM was Live and making music right on the stage and additionally, they were true visual effect showman making the experience top- Top Notch! RITMs gig was to not only satisfy our audio taste-buds but additionally satisfy and stimulate the audiences visual senses. I will never ever forget the metal face grinder when the music hits. Add super fast strobe light effect. Wow.

Is that true? Sweet! cEvin is one of my absolute heroes. Skinny Puppy, my favorite band to this day. RITM was always up there for live electronic acts. Along with Orbital, Shpongle and “Orblivion”-era Orb. Those were my acts in the late 90s, although Shpongle was more in the early 00s for me....

The Zulu parties @ the State Palace Theater were so fucking dope. Don't forget about the roof top access circa 1999 the night of Y2K.... K alright.
