I really like this cover! I love when he says “its been 95 years but who’s keeping time” and im not sure if you intended to have your voice crack at that part a little bit, but I feel like it perfectly fit the tone of someone who’s admittedly a little bit nervous. Also, the fact in the car up version it switches from a Walt to hey god. A that really caught me off guard the first time I was listening to this song and B feels like it fits the vibe of Pibby perfectly, especially since you didn’t change the subtitles until right before he said it. The only thing I would give you advice on is to not strain your voice at certain parts. Like at the ending of rabbits luck, it just sounds more, so like screaming, but I get the vibe you’re trying to get off. And trust me, I completely get the sense of wanting to do higher pitches, but your voice just not allowing it, because I am the exact same way, high notes and me just don’t mix lol. But besides that I think you really did amazing job but also, when he says who am I? who am I! what are you even saying?!” is that a cheeky, Steven universe reference in there, because if so, that is amazingly brilliant, and fits his character so perfectly.

Thank you so much for this comment! I'll be honest, I'm not sure either if I meant for my voice to crack on "Hey, who's keeping time" but I'm kinda glad I kept it. It really does fit the vibe! The "Hey, God" part in Rabbit's Glitch is a small part of how I personally view Oswald. I like the detail of him not being afraid to use "God" like a normal word, but I don't usually have him swear like JakeNeutron does. It's also a subtle nod to FNATI since Oswald is constantly talking to God in one of the games. For straining my voice, I'm an alto voice that can slip into tenor if needed. And I'm not trained aside from high school choir. I feel personally I struggled more with the lower notes of both songs than the high parts. For the specific part you mentioned, the end of Rabbit's Luck, I think I was just determined to stay in my chest voice so that I could be heard. I feel like I'm much quieter when I go into my head voice, which you can hear in parts of Rabbit's Glitch. ("Where it all started," "I don't want to be forgotten") But I do understand I probably didn't need to belt that part like I did, especially if it came off more like screaming than belting. And finally, yes! "Who am I? Who am I? What are you even saying?" is a reference to Steven Universe! I found it fitting since Oswald and Spinel's stories are fairly similar, at least the way I see Oswald, and since Last Straw exists.

@@KaylaCautio I’ll be completely honest, I’m not THAT deep into music knowledge, extent of what I do is right lyrics from time to time when I’m bored, not even all of them good lol, so I’m going to trust what you say about your actual tones and pitches in voice because I practically know nothing and you sound like you do it more professional than I. Oh, but the part that you mentioned “ I don’t want to be forgotten” may I just say you can tell that you are part of the cars cause it sounded beautiful, 12/10. (side rant but if this was actually in Pibby I see that part as the fight stops and for just a second I shred of his humanity, pierce through as he starts to cry, but then immediately switch his back and jumps out of which is why the gun shot is heard at the end. ) but also love the fact that it is actually a Steven Universe refrence in there! Like it’s so clever, because it’s so subtle, shows how much thought you actually put into making the lyrics, I respect that
