Rabbiting with a rimfire and red stag stalking - The Shooting Show

This week Mark Ripley takes the Pulsar C50 night scope and brand new Pixfra Ranger out after rabbits with his 22 rimfire, and bags a bonus fox along the way. Then Chris Rogers is out trying to keep on top of the herds of red deer on the estate. It's not enough just to find the deer - Chris then has to spend time carefully selecting a suitable cull animal, wait until the deer moves into a position that offers him a safe shot, and pre-plan the extraction of the carcass.

The wild red deer here on Exmoor would never have a first set like those did,you would get about 6”to 8” for there first set and they would be called a prickett there must be something in there breeding to get that big.

Mark you have to keep your voice down in the woods. Mat is closing the distance on your position every day. He is also prepared to rimfire with a blowback. If youre going to survive this you need to take more precautions.

Hi when you shoot deer and put in your fridge do you test for TB, The reason I asking is I watch a farming video on KZbin and they said that 85% of deer can carry TB ,Wondering weather you come across it,

I now know why I am thinking that you do repeats, you are playing the same stuff as SCTV , there must be a shortage of people doing good videos in the UK, the people you both use are all brilliant though so it's just down to who has the footage first
